Tigers totally outmatched. As I expected the Giants take the gold with ease. Feel sorry for the Tiger fans, who definitely expected much more of an effort.

Can you imagine if the Yankees were playing tonight in the World Series? If the wind is blowing the right way every popup would be a HR.

P.S. The Giants didn't even bother activating Cabrara.

Tigers

That was the worst World Series perfomance, I have ever seen! They scored 6 runs, in 4 games. Shutout in two games in a row! Only had the lead for a few innings, in the whole series. The starting pitching wasn't bad, except for Verlander getting rocked. They didn't hit a damn thing, with a team average around .160!!!
I am a Tiger fan, and it was just a flatout nightmare!!!!

Now that baseball is done, we are one step closer to missing hockey.
Not in the least. Thought never even crossed my mind.

doesn't bother me one bit with the NBA around the corner. ;)!
Also, with UEFA in full force with a new round of Champions League next Tuesday and Wednesday, that plate is full.

On a World Series closing note: Jim Leyland can write a memoir called "How to Manage yourself Straight into a World Series Sweep." Video included.

I use hockey now as a space filler. From Super Bowl to spring training without hockey all there is is basketball which numbingly boring. As well an annual spring ritual is our hockey playoff draft, going on over 30 years now. That will definitely be missed.
