If I'm Cashman I'd do this one...Spencer Jones while a gazelle in center at 6'7 with power struck out at a 40% clip last year in AA..There were concerns last year if he could hit at the major league level.
Mock trades hit a new low with ridiculous Vladdy-Yankees trade proposal
Mock trades have officially gone too far after seeing this ridiculous Blue Jays-Yankees proposal that'd send Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to the Bronx.jaysjournal.com
I’m surprised San Francisco is not trying to sign Soto. The Giants have such an amazing, huge, loyal fan base and absolutely no superstar. A nice power hitting lefty to pull the ball into the water. I’m just surprised they weren’t on Soto the way they were with Judge. If I'm Cashman I'd do this one...Spencer Jones while a gazelle in center at 6'7 with power struck out at a 40% clip last year in AA..There were concerns last year if he could hit at the major league level.
The Yankees number #1 priority is resigning Soto but it won't be long before he's a first baseman. He wasn't that good in right last year. That contract he's going to sign might a long term nightmare. He's not exactly a team first guy either.
Maybe they got fed up with Judge and Ohtani using them as bargaining chips.I’m surprised San Francisco is not trying to sign Soto. Not that it necessarily means anything, but I read today where the Jays are one of 5 teams to have tendered Soto a contract.Maybe they got fed up with Judge and Ohtani using them as bargaining chips.
Yes, but now there will be a 25% tarriff on the Jays offer. Not that it necessarily means anything, but I read today where the Jays are one of 5 teams to have tendered Soto a contract.
$36.5M/year.Sources: Champ Dodgers strike early, add Snell
Left-hander Blake Snell and the Los Angeles Dodgers are in agreement on a five-year, $182 million contract, sources told ESPN.www.espn.com
Of course you would do that proposal if you are the Yankees or a Yankees fan, It was a beyond idiotic trade offer. Not a single top 100 prospect. Not one established major leaguer. The Jays got a fair bit more for Yusei Kikuchi alone, than this package. If I'm Cashman I'd do this one...Spencer Jones while a gazelle in center at 6'7 with power struck out at a 40% clip last year in AA..There were concerns last year if he could hit at the major league level.

I think he'll sign for around $35M/year, depending on the term.I’m curious to know what Guerrero will sign for after Soto’s signed contract. Vlady would sign in my opinion for at least 2/3rds of Soto’s contract value imo. The Jays really screwed this thing up. They should have extended Guerrero sooner.

1) ClaseThey will take a stab at it again , hope things go right and they can hit 85-90 win team upside.
All he got was a minor league deal. The Mets sign Genesis Cabrera.

How could we ever doubt the intelligence and shrewdness of Shatkins. They were just waiting in the weeds to pull this off. LOLThe Jays a re closing in on Matt Stairs.
