No one will get fired. They'll just be "demoted" for a bit and then reinstated as usual.
Remember, they're in a public sector union? There's no such thing as getting fired like in the real world.

No need to deflect to the US. This thread is about Toronto.

Will Chow make a difference or keep the status quo? Or will things get worse under her watch? If worse, why?
Toronto is one of the safest cities in north america.
You are just a frightened little right winger.

Really?

Toronto Police Association:
  • Preserving and protecting our member’s collective bargaining rights
https://tpa.ca/mission-vision-values/

I would call that a union wouldn't you?
No, that’s an association not a union. Unions , and only unions, are covered by rights and obligations of the Labour Relations Act. It’s illegal for the Toronto police to be unionized.

Maybe the word “Association“ will tip you off to the reality they are not a union?

Sadly yes.

The same mayor who recently jacked up taxes and then afterwards came out bragging that there was a money surplus.
That's how fucked we are.

Are they subject to a collective bargaining agreement? Yes.

They're unionized.

Maybe the word "collective" will tip you off to the reality that they are indeed unionized.

Do you prefer "syndicate"? "Coalition"? etc etc. Semantics.
