You seem to be stuck on the word "unionized" and overlooking that the association is indeed fulfilling the mandate of a typical union.It’s illegal for the Toronto police to belong to a union. Therefore they can’t be unionized. That’s not semantics, that’s the law.
All the creepy tap dancing won’t change that.
Educate yourself. Or you can remain in your imaginary reality.
So rather than spinning in semantics, how about looking at the essence of the issue here: Their union, association, collective, etc will protect them and not have them fired for misconduct.
