It’s illegal for the Toronto police to belong to a union. Therefore they can’t be unionized. That’s not semantics, that’s the law.
All the creepy tap dancing won’t change that.

Educate yourself. Or you can remain in your imaginary reality.
You seem to be stuck on the word "unionized" and overlooking that the association is indeed fulfilling the mandate of a typical union.

So rather than spinning in semantics, how about looking at the essence of the issue here: Their union, association, collective, etc will protect them and not have them fired for misconduct.

Ignorant post, skoob.
Learn the legal difference between an association and a union and come back then.

No... they are a public display of diversity and inclusion, both of which you loathe.
You mean the same diversity and inclusion she displayed for Toronto Jews when she refused to participate in their flag ceremony?

That kind of diversity & inclusion?

I maintain they are the same in terms of collective bargaining and protecting their members from being fired.

Care to show me the difference...or will you just pretend there is one for trolling sake?

Gun violence & deaths.
What difference would that be?
From the article you posted
Johnson said the number of shooting related deaths is consistent with data from previous years, but there’s a notable increase from 2023 because last year was an “outlier” that experienced a ten-year low in the number of shootings.

Did you post about how great it was that there were fewer shootings in 2023?
Nope

You're just here posting about how horrific it is that 2024 is about an average year for gun deaths in Toronto, a number which is still very low for a city of this size.

No, its more fun to watch you repeat idiotic claims over and over again.
Then when you finally learn the facts you'll claim you knew all along and declare you won another debate.

So go to it, keep up the ignorant posts.

You mean celebrating a state undertaking a genocide? Give your head a shake. Most of us haven’t been brainwashed on moral depravity.

Educate yourself. It will be difficult for you. Research is not one of your strengths.

I didn't post about 2023 because that outlier was explained in the article.

Will Chow make things better or not? If not, why?

She made things better already.
Toronto has very low gun crimes for a city of this size.

You wanna make things better?
Get DoFo to stop destroying health care, education and public services that people need.

Chow is doing fine.

Right on queue...the inevitable DoFo distraction from you.

Why don't you start your own thread about him rather than hijacking yet another thread that has nothing to do with that?

Back on topic...

How can you say she's made gun violence better when nothing has changed? Explain your math.

I didn't say gun violence, I said she's make things better.
Gun violence is not a big issue, we have low crime.
You wanna make it lower than increase social services to decrease poverty.

conservatives screw up the economy of provinces and that increases crime
Its not off topic, its the topic, skoob

Off topic.
This thread is about gun violence in Toronto and how Chow has done nothing to improve it.
It's about Toronto, not other provinces.

Why do you keep going off topic?

Toronto is a city within the province of Ontario.
Ontario runs policies that massively affect crime rates across the province.

Declaring information that disproves your idiotic claim as 'off topic' is as stupid a debating tactic as I'd expect from stooge.
