Policies without tax revenue is meaningless particularly for a municipal governing body.
He has clearly stated that he will increase taxes on corporations and the top 1%.
So yes, his policy is quite clear.
Andrew Cuomo? He is going around making racist ads and pledging allegiance to Israel.
Let's see how that works out for him when even Jewish voters kick him to the curb.

It's pretty clear that you don't understand whataboutism.

Per Google AI:
Whataboutism is a rhetorical device where a person responds to criticism by deflecting it w
No, I do.
I am saying, criticizing Trump as overweight, old, unhealthy etc, are true statements.
They are not whataboutisms.
The whataboutism is from the right, because they bring up Biden when Trump is criticized.

But as Shaq had stated, both statements are true. So not only did you miss the “slam dunk”, you scored on your own net.
I think you are confused. Shaq doesn't understand whataboutism or he conveniently ignores what it is.

Someone who presents a what-about statement can very well be stating a fact or an accurate observation.

A great meme is priceless, but many times people don't get the full gist of the meme.

Sorry a what-about statement can be factual and accurate, but it's the attempt at diverting attention from the initial statement that makes it whataboutism.

Again the Google AI definition:
Instead of addressing the original issue, it redirects the conversation to a different one, a tactic commonly used in politics and personal arguments to shift blame and avoid accountability.

Please don't piss all over this thread by ignoring an objective third party point.

Yes, that's a policy.
So is free ice cream sundaes every day for all NYC residents.
If the ice cream shops close, that's not much of a policy in practice.
I suppose government-owned ice cream shops are a solution.

I don't think Mamdani will be successful on policy.
He will either quickly back-off of his more impractical policies or NYC will suffer from stagnation and possibly decline.
Like many politicians, success can simply be defined as getting elected.

Right and the attempt to divert attention to Biden's age etc when Trump's age is pointed out, is from the right.
Hence the right engages in whataboutism, not the left.
People did not have a problem with Biden's age per se.
It was rather his elderly presence and physicality that concerned them.

Like I said, you don't understand whataboutism. (I think you do, but you will always challenge me for fuck's sake.)

Saying Trump is crazy, physically falling apart or whatever is completely fine and an entirely acceptable position. If it follows a statement of Biden's obvious decline, it moves into the whataboutism. It's a deflection of the matter at hand. Hell, we already know Biden was being treated for prostate cancer last year.

Here's the best example of your meme
Joe is very cognitive...fit as he could ever be...
As bad as Biden got he didn't have to go through 2 MRI's and cognitive tests in one year.
And he was never so far gone that he bragged about taking the MoCa and confused it with an IQ test.

you are guilty of whataboutism unless you really look into this

You asked if he clearly articulates policy.
Yes, he has.
Regardless of what you think about his policies, it is certainly way better than having no policy and promising to do absolutely nothing except virtue signal for Israel like Cuomo has.

I don't believe I asked this or said that Mamdani didn't have policies.
To paraphrase an idiomatic saying, Policies for politicians are like assholes. They all got them.

Everyone did.
Everyone said he was old and senile, but supported Biden because an old and senile career politician, was better than an old and senile Nazi in power.
You are entitled to your opinions of Biden and Trump.

However, age was not the real reason Biden was replaced. The symptoms of aging were very visibly present. There is a difference. I have seen people in their 80s who were sharp as a tack.

Now I actually have conceded*, I don't think Trump will be able to make it to 2028 without fair questions of further decline. Perhaps he will be pressured to step down. Again, it's silly to think someone who is 78 is going to be as sharp as a 58 year old.

* You do know what the word "conceded" means. It's very useful in having reasonable conversations. People of course can have different opinions.
