Why do leftists always accuse other of doing what they themselves actually do? Is it genetic? Is that what is in the indoctrination program?
They screwed up by letting their ideology get in the way of proper preparedness.

Just look at the pictures and tell me where you would rank their preparedness on a scale of 1-10.
1 being- convincing people you are spending money wisely while spending it on other pet projects
10 being what any sensible government should have done for their people.
They would have never convinced the majority of the LA population that it's worth spending billions to save heavily dry and prone-to-fire areas, especially since nothing should have been built in these areas in the first place. The majority of the LA population would have said screw you with your billionaire homes. If you have the money to build 20 million homes, spend yourself to protect it and leave us alone.
What will happen is the poorer of these areas (you know the ones with homes of only a million or 2 in value) will sell their land. The billionaires will buy bigger land, bigger mansions and completely loan it out so next time it's destroyed they again won't lose much themselves.
If you ask me, let's spend time and money to help the North Carolina poor folks who lost it all and leave the millionaires of LA to deal with their loss. I assure you these people will not make the street of LA have more tents then they already have

I think the interviewee's predictions are going to be right.
DEI is fostered in the humanities & social sciences, however activism and oppression olympic degrees have no value after graduation and it's being reflected in the income/earnings of those graduates.
Eventually, post-secondary admissions will tank because DEI candidates will come to realize that it doesn't make financial sense to obtain a worthless degree, and the world doesn't think you're smart while carrying around such a degree.
We're seeing this happen already. People with DEI degrees serve your coffee at Starbucks while those with trades or STEM degrees earn 6-figures.
Post-secondary institutions will undergo a significant reorganization as a result. They will have no choice.
