They are not competing.Irrelevant.
I understand that in your worldview, despite obvious differences between men and women, you must suspend disbelief and hold strong to the status quo that men and women are equally capable of all things.
If we look at pro sport on-the-job performance, where physical requirements are important, we see the differences between men and women. The WNBA players do their job admirably but they can't compete against NBA players.
You would probably require a study to confirm this, right?
Even a mixed-sex league where all teams have both men and women, would still be inferior to an all-male roster.
"Hand-grip strength has been identified as one limiting factor for manual lifting and carrying loads. Mean maximal hand-grip strength showed the expected clear difference between men (541 N) and women (329 N). Less expected was the gender related distribution of hand-grip strength: 90% of females produced less force than 95% of males."

You and I both know that all things being equal, when you call the police or firefighters for help, you're hoping it's a team of men that arrive. Even female police and firefighters hope so, too.
It's not the result of hate or bias. It's the result of common sense and real world experience.
We are not talking sports (where I would agree men and women should compete separately).
Here they are working as a team to accomplish mission objectives.
Your statements are uninformed and the reality of successful missions executed by the men and women who currently serve, prove otherwise.
