I think the interviewee's predictions are going to be right.
DEI is fostered in the humanities & social sciences, however activism and oppression olympic degrees have no value after graduation and it's being reflected in the income/earnings of those graduates.
Eventually, post-secondary admissions will tank because DEI candidates will come to realize that it doesn't make financial sense to obtain a worthless degree, and the world doesn't think you're smart while carrying around such a degree.
We're seeing this happen already. People with DEI degrees serve your coffee at Starbucks while those with trades or STEM degrees earn 6-figures.
Post-secondary institutions will undergo a significant reorganization as a result. They will have no choice.
