You think $17 million couldn't have gone to improve infrastructure?
The "readiness plans" were just Democrat talking points as evident that they were not actually prepared.
It's not a point about sexual orientation...the point is they focused more on DEI than actually focusing on preventative measures. Again as evident by them still being at 0% containment. That clearly shows they were not prepared.
They spent $400 million on "greening " their port. Yet they couldn't invest in proper hydraulic infrastructure systems to pump water at different elevations????
You need to prove all that.
You need to prove that this 17M was exactly what was needed to prevent the wildfire.
You need to prove that there were no readiness plans with the LAFD.
You need to prove they didn't focus on preventative measures or readiness plans at all and were caught off guard.
There could be multiple engineering or logistics issues and fit for purpose issues with these fire infrastucture systems you are proposing. You need to prove that they are infact fit for purpose and that there was a deliberate negligence.
If not all of this just amounts to stringing unrelated things together to push an agenda.
So DEI should work like this.

There is NO STOPPING or preventing a firestorm of chapparel being driven by 70 mph winds. Nothing could stop it. NOTHING can put out a forest fire. It can only run out of fuel. Cal Fire is the most experienced, well run and equipped wildfire agency in the world. And they happen to have to fight fires that have, and will occur naturally forever.
