Dcoat,

Lol! You nailed it right on. Dogggystyle99 is so much in denial and writes like he is morally superior. Lol He is in total denial he thinks MPs do not spread covid and only stripclubs are superspreaders. HaHa!

I don't need to "look" more intelligent. I leave that to the lefties that are all about virtue signaling to make themselves look more intelligent. I'm all about common sense.

Besides aren't you the one who is trying to redefine what TDS stands for?
Your use of "covidiot" is completely wrong.

There is no "redefintion". I have demonstrably shown that syndromes are associated with the abnormal/minority aspect of the population. Prove me wrong.

No, actually schools don't get a pass, they're helping stop the spread.

CDC says schools are among the safest place for kids.

Teachers are bringing the virus in if it's in, not kids, and they're not taking it home either.
I mentioned no kind of pass. I reported that schools in NYC were closed and schools in Toronto/Peel are open. In both cases people are complaining of the actions taken.

Apologies.

I quoted your post instead of the post you were responding to.

This is what fucks up other regions.
Why is it no one from the media can ask Ford and his group of misfits the hard question.

1. You have had the same plan for the last 9months. Why do you feel it will work now?

2. Its seems there are qty 3 problem areas for spreading the disease which are public transit, schools and household transmission. What is your plan to mitigate the risk in these three areas?

3. Why does your Minister of Long Term Care still have her job?

Because even when the questions get asked, they don't get answered.
Teenager asks (through her reporter mom) "I can go to school and be safe, but why can't I have 1 friend come to my house?" Answer had lots of words, two talking heads, no clarity on the question........... FROM A TEENAGER!

Fire Dr. Williams and hire Dr Loh. At the very least Dr Loh seems to a have better grasp on reality.

Doug is about transparency why not just come on TV and say " Williams is calling the shots" and stop the parade of prepared questions from the fake news media
Because he's clearly picking and choosing what health concerns he wants to listen to.

Actually, they are statistically based. The increasing number of cases prompted this move.
I'll actually side with the covidiots on this that the move Ford makes are politically motivated.

Unlike those conspiracy nuts though, I think he should have actually followed public health advice and locked down everything except health care, groceries, pharmacies, (and their supply chain) and elementary schools for 2 weeks instead of this minimal lockdown which may need to drag on for months.

Oh, you can shut it down. And on the day 61 you'll look up to the skies and see; what is it? Is it a bird, a flying saucer...Superman? No, it's Air France on final at Pearson- bringing ten new Covid cases to spread through our pristine transportation infrastructure on the way to "self quarantine". Get used to living with Covid, boys and girls, or stop living altogether.
Still puts us back to the 20 cases per day range instead of the 1500 we're in now. That's the thing about exponential growth, putting ourselves back to the start gives us a few more months until it's a problem again by which time vaccines will start being delivered.

This whole thing with "...if only people listened and wore masks and social distanced, it would all be over soon", is as false as giving fat people a diet regiment that doesn't work and then blaming them for not loosing weight because they didn't stick to the diet plan.

It's dishonest and deliberately sets us to failure.
Except it is a pretty true statement (for those who don't make up their own science). If all people followed the guidelines, the growth rate would be slowed enough that we wouldn't have to lock down.

Maybe instead of blaming few people that do not believe that masks even work, we should concentrate on closing down the TTC. ...
I challenged you on this in another thread and your only response was essentially fuck people who don't have cars.

Sorry but if workplaces are open, the TTC is needed.

...Small incontinence to save lives, don't you think?
...
True, in as much as you're full of shit.

Interesting to note that when they closed the schools in NYC last week, the very widespread uproar was that they didn't keep them open because the rate of transmission was so low.
It's likely true in elementary schools. Unfortunately there haven't been many studies that actually studied transmission in schools.

What kind of stupid comment is this? You make no sense. A lot of jobs are ESSENTIAL. Security guards, nurses, grocery store workers, etc.. How will they get to work? I guess you will volunteer to drive them all. Smh. What a dumb post. Think before you write nonsense.
And he doesn't care that those are often staffed by people with low salaries who have no other options.

...

Shut down the TTC as that is where the most people get infected. ...
What an idiotic claim. I'm sure you have data to back that up.

I'm sure you believe that those with low-wage jobs in hospitals and long term care homes all have limos and chauffeurs.
