Keep the faith, von. We are all praying and hoping the best for you. I hope that we can share some guanciale and pitta bread in the future.

Any good signs from the doc though?
For now the price of Brukinsa has dropped, it's an omni blood cancer medication. My next script will be in tablet form one every 12 hours instead of two capsules every twelve hours.

I went to an extended family BBQ and Jays watch on Sunday. Had my first drink this year, espresso with maple liquor...it was delicious. Your'e not supposed to drink on Brukinsa. Verdura doesn't affect it so I'm an occasional puffer. Apart from that I'm getting better sleep, I can breathe through my nostrils again. Something I haven't been able to do in over a year.

Andy Whitfield (Spartacus:Blood and Sand) passed away 18 months after diagnosis, I'm now at 26 months.

You are a brave, tough sunna-ma-beech paesan! I think of you often and hope you get through this.

I find this out now. One of my life's heroes doesn't have lymphoma, he has undifferentiated sarcoma, he has been in remission since 2016.

Doctor's direct orders.

I'm getting an unexpected phone call from my oncologist tomorrow. That would make me anxious but I have a good idea why she's calling. I'm going in for dental work next week, she's making sure I'm on antibiotics beforehand. Before I got afflicted with La Brutta Bestia, I had to just summon up the courage to visit the dentist, that's it.

You all know the hero I'm talking about: Tony Iommi.

Well I guess it’s my time to confess, make it quick early in September I was going into the shower and I felt something running down my back had a quick look at it yes it’s blood and yes it looked like it was coming from a skin tag. I did have an appointment with my doctor at 9 o’clock in the morning for an unrelated condition, so I tried to dress the bleeding as best as I could went to the doctor it was approximately 815 Dr. shows up at 830 he looks at it and he writes a script he tells me to go to urgent care not the hospital. So off I go, I arrived at urgent care showed the receptionist my health card a brief description of what’s happening and the note which the doctor wrote in scribble. 2 minutes later a nurse comes out calls my name I go straight into a room I mean there was 10 to 12 people waiting before me, well in the room they totally totally ignored my left hand I’ve lost the use of and the doctor comes in has a look and tells me to lie on my stomach he comes back with a little medical kit he tells me exactly what is going to do okay by this time I clue in he’s gonna cut it out while he removed something about the amount of the red eraser on a pencil book couple stitches in it and out the door I go oh forgot to mention blood tests anyways in about 10 days I get a phone call guess what I won the lottery it skin cancer, he asks me which cancer centre I would like to go to being in Brampton I figured William Ostler not an option so it’s down to credit Valley. Okay the next day the phone rings off the hook I got a phone call from credit Valley a date is arranged I go down there so on so forth later on in the day I get 3 more phone calls Princess Margaret, Toronto general, and Sunnybrook, now I’m been a little bit nervous you’re getting all these hospitals owning for little old me? Well went for a 2nd biopsy and the surgeon there took out like a bacon strip from my right shoulder. About 2 weeks later I’m shot up with a radioactive isotope to do a full body scan and then another week I get shot up in the shoulder for the lymph nodes and they had to remove for a phone for more biopsies I told the technician when he was injecting me with that isotope if he pisses me off don’t be upset if I grow big and grow green turn into a hall anyways make a long story short on February 6 I got my 1st round of immune therapy and shit I am feeling side effects. The nurse phoned yesterday in regards to the side effects and a headaches any this any.I told her no headaches, I am plugged up and I cured that myself but what I wasn’t ready for all my joints hurt like hell, I don’t sleep well probably get 3 hours a night that’s it and it feels like I got hit by a truck every morning when you wake up you don’t feel like doing anything. My little buddy Rex understands usually get the walk 1st thing in the morning but now it’s sort of like 9 10 o’clock and even then I feel like crap. I have a question for members here do edible dummies work? I tried getting fresh air that really doesn’t work sort of loss of appetite you take something like a T and a bun in the morning and you feel like you sat down at it all-you-can-eat buffet. Next Friday I go for my 2nd round. Any tips or tricks?

Problem with cancer is my dad passed away stage IV lung cancer several years ago and they just bounced him from hospital to hospital, and every time they started from the beginning x-rays blood work MRI scans always the same results tell, he basically said fuck off I want to go home and die while that’s what happened. Also the fact my mother is still around she’s up there in age and I’m not proud to say it but I have lied through my teeth she doesn’t know anything about this and I’m trying to hide the side effects. But one thing I’ve learned it brings out the true colours of people I’m by myself okay friends around me and then I have the so-called friends you know hey guess what I won the lottery I have cancer and that’s it will low and behold here comes the best part what are you going to do with the tools what are you going to do with those cars you have, all that money and what time frame. In other words they want to slice of the pie well here’s how the pie is going to be cut up when the time comes the house would be sold what funds generated will go towards dog pounds and the CNIB for dog training. As for my investments cash about cancer and the last cars and tools well cars to the high school let them get experience working on cars and the tools I have enough for supplying 3 apprentices though be happy a good start in the trade as for so-called friends a simple fuck you

If you're on a protein inhibitor to starve the cancer, your taste buds will be suppressed. I've become an aficionado of hot sauce since I started treatment - Frank's sucks.

Which one of your children has power of attorney, put your affairs in order or the government will take what you've built up. Get as much physical activity as you can, even if you feel lethargic. It will help in the long run. Try not to write everything in one paragraph, it makes it difficult to follow.

Good luck to you.
