Good luck replacing the 80% of trade we do with the EU. The trade the EU really wanted with Canada was destroyed by Trudeau...what did he say, no business model to export natural gas to the EU. Carney won't export anything to the EU, he is still Mr. Green Energy scam nonsense, carbon capture, carbon tax, carbon credits money laundering scheme.
As I believe we've discussed before, I think some of this is misreading the GOP success in the USA and ignoring the structural aspects that help support it.
Its amazing. Manitoba is building a pipeline to ship LNG to the via its northern route. EU. The Liberal resignations are about Carney dropping climate policy for trade diversity. Carbon tax is gone.

The EU was not willing to invest and sign long term offtake deals at the time. Now they are signing. Expecting anyone to invest billions without long term offtake deals is not reasonable. (do you know what at off take deal is? )
