They were 3 pretty easy wins. There are now another 6 that need to happen. 4 in Ontario, 2 in Quebec.

They need at least 3 wins there, but likely more to maintain a majority.
No, they don’t. That’s the point you’re missing. The Liberals now have 173 sitting MPs. The majority threshold is 172.

The six upcoming byelections are for seats that are already vacant, so they are already excluded from that 173. The Liberals could lose all six and still retain their majority.

Any additional wins simply increase it. They are not required to maintain it.

Must be painful for the Conservatives. Ouchie. So sad. And I wouldn’t be surprised to see more floor crossings before the new year.

At some point, they need to stop pretending this is bad luck and deal with the obvious problem: Poilievre and the platform he has built around himself. He is deeply disliked, and he has dragged the party into a political cul-de-sac that makes it harder, not easier, to win.

Fire him. Move the party back to the centre-right. Compete seriously on the economy, government competence, taxes, productivity and affordability. Show us the plan and how it is better than the Liberals if you can. Drop the constant culture-war fixation on race, gender and religion.

The religious right is not worth making the entire party unpalatable to everyone else. That is the trade the Conservatives keep making, and it is one of the reasons they keep losing.

The Quebec one was not easy, it never is. Fact is, the country feels it has to support Carney. Even more Con- support his position on trade. As was pointed out by some pundit. Carney is a better Liberal then Trudeau, and is a better Conservative then PP.

You called the EU a dictatorship.
that's wacko
the EU can sanction you and you are stripped of all rights and banking with NO COURT APPEAL. In Germany you can go to jail for insulting a politician online ..I guess they will soon call it the people court. In the UK all you need to do is utter "FREE PALESTINE" and off to jail. Yes the EU is sliding into dictator ship even faster then the USA. Remember EU law has overrides local laws and the European Council is NOT ELECTED. OTOH I am pretty sure if I waved a Hezbollah sign in Canada I would be arrested.

Trump wants Carney to remain in power. Trump knows Carney is a weaker leader than Trudeau. Carney will let Trump walk all over him as it benefits him financially and politically
And what planet are you from making such a ridiculous assessment of reality ?

TRUDEAU by many assessments was the worst PM to ever serve in Canada. Although he was probably strong in his unwavering ridiculous policies.

Trump and Carney have a love hate relationship.... Carney needs Trump to stay in power....Trump needs Carney to stay in power...they both benefit from tugging each others chains once in a while.... Trump trolling Carney gets the Americans riled up....Carney criticizing Trump gets the liberals riled up....the song and dance with these 2 is quite compelling....don't forget Dougie as wel...

On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, Greece
Because he is a civilian and not the PM?
But conservatives never fail to mention him because they are still butt hurt that their glorified sloganeer's entire failed political career revolved around trolling him. lmfao.
LMFAO at this...When Justin was the prime minister he never missed a chance to bring up Stephen Harper....And as for slogans...Elbows Up!...

Trudeau did not bring Harper up very much at all. Dunno what alternative universe you live in.

And by many other assessments he did quite well.

The tampon machines in the men's bathrooms shall never be forgotten, nor the fact that beta soyboys have a genuine need for them 🤦🤣

the liberals ditch Justin because they're on the verge of losing as they go farther left...Carney for his credit is far from the insanity of the left...he's closer to the center. That's why him and Dougie are getting along...Dougie isn't a far right...he's a center right...

Trudeau was popular enough to beat out how many conservative leaders? 3? 4?
Carney campaigned on that but is turning into Harper.

So let me get this straight: In your world Justin Trudeau passed a federal law requiring tampon machines in men's bathrooms?

And somehow the presence of a tampon machine near where you poop is the worst/scariest thing that ever happend to you. So much so that you use the words "shall never be forgotten".

And you are calling OTHER PEOPLE soy boys because you are scared of tampons?

Maybe you've never been stabbed in a bar before, but Tampons are hugely effective wound dressings.

Took em a bit to update the seat counts after the election. My other point stands. Still super close and a buffer is needed.
