Exactly. The anti-Semitism is integral to this whole conspiracy theory that the Jews stole their identity. Whether there are other truths, half-truths, and distortions woven into this story doesn’t really matter. I’m sure there is all kinds of other interesting information that I don’t have the time and energy to debunk.
FWIW…I keep seeing videos on social media of young black men going through dictionaries and Biblical verses to make some sort of bloodline argument that they are the true Israelites. I’ve also seen people who know far more about this than I do debunk this stuff quite easily.
The difficulty for the average person in sorting through all of this stuff on their own is that it is not easy to fact check these claims without some fairly advanced PhD-level knowledge of the history of the Middle East, which groups and tribes lived where, etc. along with some similarly advanced knowledge of Biblical scriptures describing the relationships between different tribes, etc. Anyway, my point is that once you identify the anti-Semitism in the film you can safely assume that the rest of the film is full of shit too.
Life ain't fair. When multiple reviewers including our own C-M all agree about the anti-semitic quotes and content of the video, I don't see any need to support their racist venture by watching it myself.
And yours strawman is dumb. I never said that you shouldn't watch the movie, just that I won't. What I did say was ask if after watching half of the movie, you agree that the movie's theme is anti-semitic accusations against Jews or if you think it's 'factual' instead.
Honestly, I couldn't care less what they see their own religion as; religion is irrational enough as it is. The problem is the movie and the more extreme in the movement promote hatred against another ethnic group as part of their own identity.

This guy sounds very much like Kyrie- he speaks cryptically out of both sides of his mouth and acts like he’s the smartest guy in the room and everyone else can’t see exactly what he’s doing.

I don’t know and I don’t care. I’m not jumping down this rabbit hole of anti-Semitism. At this point, I have seen and heard enough about this film to convince me that it is a load of shit.
Academics who study this stuff as their full time job can debunk these claims rather easily but to do so requires a level of knowledge that neither you nor I possess.
So in the end it’s a question of whom you find more credible. I am inclined not to believe those whose arguments include fake Hitler quotes and Holocaust denial…but that’s just me.

The thing is realistically none of this can be proven. I'm pretty sure not too many people could write in those days and history is generally recorded by the winners of conflicts not the losers.
