Watching the prosecution questioning Rittenhouse with video evidence. Most of the people he was walking past were unarmed and just standing around. They seemed quite approachable and engaged him in casual conversation as he passed. Just a thought. Maybe if he hadn't been carrying a gun the situation wouldn't have escalated against him. The crowd wouldn't have turned against him. He brought it all on himself.
Did any of the video evidence show him confronting anyone with malintent? Nope. Every video instance showed him being pursued or threatened with violence. In particular we see him being chased and knocked down by one guy. Then another guy comes and hits him with a skateboard. Another stomps on him. And then a guy confronts him with a loaded gun. What the fuck is the kid supposed to do here? Its shoot or be killed.

I said I would probably shoot to save my sorry ass. However as far as malintent, the testimony was that people started getting pissed at him and his cohort. They were yelling at him and his other armed companion to quit pointing their lasers at them. The prosecution indicated that they were referring to the laser sights on their weapons. That was where things started to go sour.

He is not authorized to STAND UP. It is not his job. It is none of his business. He is not authorized to take charge. That's why civilians shouldn't try to be cops, when cops are on duty. Things can go wrong. People can get killed.
Because the police never kill anyone…..

it’s none of your business what he or anyone else does he had as much right as anyone else to be there carrying anything he felt like that the state allows.

thats for CCW to make sure the state is not permitting a convicted felon or someone with a court order to carry a firearm
Yet you just said...

You do realize many states you have to take safety course to get a carry permit even if you don’t your photograph and fingerprints are taken and run through the FBI database
Canada's laws make a hell of a lot more sense. Anyone who wants a firearm must have a background check and a safety course.

a firearm IS a mechanical device its designed to fire a projectile it cannot function without a human operating it
...
That was explicitly designed and optimized to kill or injure things.

BTW. In the robotic era, guns can be automated. Doe sthe US have laws against that?

20+ million legal guns in Canada with millions of rounds of ammunition fired every year and few if any deaths there goes your killing purpose.....
Might it have something to do with mandatory safety courses, universal background checks, and it being illegal to carry guns in most public environments?

But thanks for making my argument for me.

they are true but storing them there would be the stupidest thing you could do ranges are in the middle of nowhere police response could be 20+ mins a building full of guns unattended in the middle of nowhere what could go wrong

or people keep them stored at home as the law says where few if anyone (criminals) know where they are
Are you saying that one secure facility is less safe than every individual having to arrange their own storage? Only reason to justify a handgun being stored at home would be self defence which is not a legal reason to own a gun here.

The US is also subject to narco gang violence. Especially now since the Obama/Harris/Biden administration has opened the southern border.

there was a curfew so none should have been out, I noticed you didn't say Kyles assailants shouldn't have been there....
So he wasn't doing anything illegal except the things he was doing illegally? Could it be that the other curfew breakers aren't on trial because they didn't kill anyone?

Ranges are in the middle of absolute nowhere storage in the middle of nowhere would be a very easy target and nothing is secure. they are more secure in individuals homes where no one knows where they are and they’re not a threat in individuals homes nor have they ever been in Canada

I think this should shatter the illusion of Antifa once and for all. They're not about anti-racism or tolerance or whatever PC rhetoric they spew out. They are domestic terrorists looking to smash the power structure and replace it with a Marxist regime. Threatening a judge should make that clear enough.
It is humorous how you guys fixate on antifa as being responsible for anything you don't like. Do you think it makes you look more stable than people freaking out about communists?

Wrong again it’s designed to propel a projectile

If I am so wrong why was Dr. Seuss canceled?
...
And the lunacy continues. Seuss wasn't cancelled. The people with the publishing rights chose to no longer publish a couple books that few people had even heard of. But I guess all your complaining about Marxists includes bitching that a company made their own decision.

Canada has about 750 murders a year, US has not 7500 but 16,425 so US is more than doubly ahead in murders alone. Then you have armed robberies etc.

explosive is also a mechanical device that can only be triggered by a human. Maybe we should give everyone a bomb and see how well they go about not detonating it
Explosives have an actual purpose other than killing and maiming.

During BLM and antifa riots its very common for store owners to protect their stores by walking around with firearms. Thats not a provocation, thats just making sure that store owner doesnt lose his livelihood and goes bankrupt
As has been said endlessly, KR didn't have any property there and no one asked him to defend their property.
