Has anyone had success selling their house with comfree recently??

I'm getting calls like crazy from RE agents who want me to drop comfree and list with them.
I've had 3 showings so far, but no biters

Don't know how far it is true, my neighbour who is a realtor, tells me - Agents don't show comfree houses to their clients (since this model effects the core of their business). So prospective buyers are limited to drive-by clients or those browsing the net themselves and not solely relying on their realtor.

If successful, savings for the seller can be tremendous!

I believe that to be partially true. some RE agents shy away from comfree, but I have had 3 showings so far, and comfree has sold 1/4 million houses since they became a startup company

I have sold a property through Comfree. It sold within three days of being listed on MLS. I offered 2% to the buying agent. It shocks me that more people don't sell their home this way...with ComFree it was the same as having an agent, only I had to do the showings, which there was three, I thought it was fun. Their pictures of my place also kicked ass compared to the average agent listing. I opted for the OfferAssist program at ComFree so I didn't have to negotiate directly with the buyers, just had to say yes or no to their offer.

Yes, you will have many real estate agents calling you to try and drop Comfree and go with them. And they will offer to drop their commission to 1.5 or 2%. It was funny, some of the agents who called said I was way overpriced and the house wouldn't sell, while others said I was leaving money on the table and should be listing for more, lol. Real Estate agents will swear up and down it is the biggest mistake a seller can make, going with ComFree or Property Guys, which is funny as it was a family member who is a Real Estate agent that told me about ComFree (they live out of province).

Yes, some agents won't show your house if you offer less than 2.5% commission, but I find most home buyers are doing all the research themselves now-a-days. I found my house that I currently live in, I just called an agent to do the transaction. This was before ComFree had their buying service on the market....which is also a great idea.

I saved $12,500, not bad imho. The place I sold was a condo, the selling price was the highest for a condo in that building...until a couple months later.

I had one agent call me to say my listing $40K underpriced, and another told me it was $50K overpriced. These guys are so full of shit!! Plus they'll lie to you and tell you things that are wrong with your house which arent true.

I dont trust any of them

Don't know how long your house has been on the market, but if you put it up on sale in May, you would have had many bidders within a week.
Just advertise that you will have the lady on your signature picture showing them round the house and the whole of the TERB board may come round to see it. :)

The current real estate market is not the same as before. People are waiting on the sidelines hoping against hope that the market will collapse under its own weight. Now, if you havent already bought you may have the luxury of testing the market with comfree. If you are in that precarious position that you have to sell, because you have to take posession of your next abode, then comfree may not be your best choice IMHO

I'm not buying a new place until I sold my house.
I'm giving a 90-day possession date, that way I have 3 months to look for a new house

That is a REALLY bad idea.

NEVER divulge such personal information as your home address, real name etc on a forum that links you with discussing criminal activity. Especially if you troll or post controversial opinions like Phil.

Phil, there are lots of buyers out there. Don't disclose your listing.

Hollywoodg, MLS is full of listings.

Too late! I am seeing it tomorrow. At least C-36 did not kill the TERB brotherhood!
