Real Estate Companies and agents have to be the greatest scam of all time. Réal Estate prices in Toronto are up five or six hundred percent in the last 20 years and these individuals still think they are entitled to 5 or 6 percent. To do what exactly?
I've said this before and I'll say it again, if an architect told a client it was going to be 6 percent to DESIGN their house, he'd get laughed right out the door. But people will pay a real estate agent that because they're sheep.
An architect has gone to university for 5 or more years in a very intense and demanding course. He or she has spent another 10 years probably learning the ropes and details associated with design and construction.
And a real estate agent has leased a BMW M5.

I just sold my place, had a 8 month rental agreement written into the deal,,also a 4 and a half month closing date. I put large bucks immediately into investment, I can take the time to find the best deal, I have advantage with no financing, I will offer less as there's no hurry, I will buy and rent at the same time for 1 to 2 months as I paint, fix, do whatever I want to the new place, move most of my stuff over myself, a load a day I'm my cargo van...In between the holidays I have planned
