Poor Horowitz. He didn't deserve to be put in that situation(9th inning, 2 out, men on base) having just been called up.

TBH, he's leading the majors in a very important category since the start of 2022.

He's hit into 89 double plays in that time. That is no easy feat.

He also sucked ass when he admired his "homer" and then trotted out of the box but it ended out hitting off the wall and he only got a single. If he'd run it out it was an easy double. With the way he's played this year he is in no position to be a prima donna.

He is a child in a man's body.

Nope.

Guerrero has grounded into 89 double plays since the start of the 2019 season:

and he's not leading the Majors in 2023:

His 2023 GIDP rate, based on potential opportunities, is the lowest of his career, but still well above League average.

I stand corrected. As they say, the memory is the 1st thing to go. LOL.

However, even though my total was wrong, he does indeed lead the league in GIDP since the start of 2022.

it perhaps isn’t surprising that Guerrero has hit into 46 double plays since Opening Day 2022, tied for the most of any player in the league.

I think I heard today on the radio broadcast that George Springer has grounded into the most double plays this year for the Jays and you wouldn't expect that.

Anyways huge victory by the hometown team today.....The Rangers are in a freefall. Who saw that coming?

I am doing something cool and crazy September 22nd. I am planning on driving to Texas for six days. San Antonio actually. On the way there I’m planning on stopping off to watch the Rangers play the Mariners on Sunday the 24th. This is an important series for the Blue Jays. It would be cool to go to that. The question is would I make it in time because it’s an afternoon game. Lol

Man, that is cool. I've been to the U.S. many times but never made it as far south as Texas.
Lol well leaving really late Friday night will I make it there by Sunday afternoon? That’s the test. 20 hours on the road straight to Dallas. Catch a baseball game and then another 3/4 hours to San Antonio..

So what is the problem with this guy? I read that the new pitch clock had fucked up his timing, however he seems to be the only major league pitcher who has used that as an excuse.

Is it his weight or is it a mental block?

I am leaning towards a mental block...
Rumor is he might have a substance abuse problem
