I've seen Trudeau get desperate, but damn this is just pathetic and weak.

I would do the following:
1. Stop immigration except doctors/nurses
2. Build infrastructure(hospitals/schools/ etc)
3. Build condos/houses
4. Mandate minimum sq per room for new condos (no 300 sq feet for bachelors and sub 500 sq feet for 1 Bed)
5. Reduce taxes for foreign companies who hire mostly Canadians and have Canadian office.
6. Impose fines for Canadian companies who uses offshore/onshore labour
7. Deport everyone on PR/temporary stay who is in jail or got convicted
8. Deal with drug addicts and homeless (no details, nobody will like my idea of reducing number of drug addicts)
9. Nuke any carbon/green tax. If everybody starves tomorrow, nobody will care about that anymore.
10. Recall all DEI policies. Sorry no sorry.
11. Allow foreign cell-phone companies to operate in Canada w/o jumping through the hoops (i think it's not working like that right now).
12. Cut NATO spending. Really who is going to attack Canada? Polar bears? Maple Leafs with sticks will handle them...
1,2,3 - Wont work together.
The construction industry reports shortages as well.
They need to stop the TFW program and cut refugees and students.
Permanent immigration is welcome although numbers need to be adjusted.
4 - I agree. But costs? How many are ready to pay high rents for bigger spaces?
10 - That is not going to happen and not necessary. DEI policies and meritocracies are not mutually exclusive.

Honest question gentlemen and ladies, do you believe that a new PM (likely PP) will fix the issues? I will vote against Liberals (not sure who exactly yet), but i don't believe that we will see a big change.
He will fix the issues, but not likely in 4 years.
The issues have been growing since 2015. Can't be fixed over night.
Liberal messes take a long time to fix. That's how bad they are.

Canada is cooked. There is no fix because everyone has their own agenda.

If we were united as Canadians then it could get fixed like when Chretien was in office, but everyone has taken up identity politics.

But with Poilievre we might be able to save, preserve or gain some wealth back. Some of use have invested too much into Canada to just watch it crash. Salvaging something is better than losing it all.

Wow I must be living in a different country. Things got much better than before, according to this list.

How come the unemployment rate is at historic low, while it’s much harder to find a job than before Trudeau?

If you are part of the Liberal caucus, you have to be pulling your hair out.

This guy Trudeau, silences and shuts down any conversation of replacing him, then releases this video that basically says "I'm an idiot, sorry. Won't you vote for me again?".

Who the hell thought this was a good idea?

If you have been paying attention, the Liberals, knowing they will get turfed in the next election, have one by one been adopting what Poilievre has been campaigning on. Controlling immigration is one of these things.
Funny how a party changes its tune when they fear getting obliterated in an upcoming election eh?
This is what I've been pointing out. Trudeau has been stealing policies from both Poilievre and Singh.

He tried adopting all those NDP initiatives, but his numbers still tanked and it made his budget even worse.

Now he's trying to spin the table on Poilievre, but waaaaayyyyy too late. He's been pegged.

Worst PM of all-time.

These commentators are so stupid. They think this is a good strategy because of the views it's getting, but are they reading the comments? 🤦‍♂️

Fixed it for you.
Dear Canadians,
After years of letting immigration get out of control, and causing all kinds of problems, we are going to blame an unknown culprit and promise to reduce the number of migrants by fast tracking citizenship in time for the next election.
Unfortanately I think that's what he has in mind.
And I am honest when I say that.

The bigger question is what is a legitimate solution to the problem we're facing. If there isn't a reasonable solution available then it doesn't matter what party is in power. Common sense would say that putting immigration on pause until a permanent solution can be found would be the first step in the right direction.
Solution is easy. Nobody comes in unless they have been properly vetted and has the papers to get in.
