If you have been paying attention, the Liberals, knowing they will get turfed in the next election, have one by one been adopting what Poilievre has been campaigning on. Controlling immigration is one of these things.

Revoke the visa’s, cut off any govt support, and actively fine companies 50k a pop for employing illegals (start with Tim Horton). They’ll go back to India (or to whatever gay European country that will take them) pretty quick.

If you look at the actual numbers he has proposed it is (and I may be a little off here): 1.1M in 2025. 1M in 2026 and ~950K in 2027.
The number of deaths in Canada is on an average 350K per year.
Number of new births in Canada is also 350K per year.
So that cancels out.

Honest question gentlemen and ladies, do you believe that a new PM (likely PP) will fix the issues? I will vote against Liberals (not sure who exactly yet), but i don't believe that we will see a big change.
I would do the following:
1. Stop immigration except doctors/nurses
2. Build infrastructure(hospitals/schools/ etc)
3. Build condos/houses
4. Mandate minimum sq per room for new condos (no 300 sq feet for bachelors and sub 500 sq feet for 1 Bed)
5. Reduce taxes for foreign companies who hire mostly Canadians and have Canadian office.
6. Impose fines for Canadian companies who uses offshore/onshore labour
7. Deport everyone on PR/temporary stay who is in jail or got convicted
8. Deal with drug addicts and homeless (no details, nobody will like my idea of reducing number of drug addicts)
9. Nuke any carbon/green tax. If everybody starves tomorrow, nobody will care about that anymore.
10. Recall all DEI policies. Sorry no sorry.
11. Allow foreign cell-phone companies to operate in Canada w/o jumping through the hoops (i think it's not working like that right now).
12. Cut NATO spending. Really who is going to attack Canada? Polar bears? Maple Leafs with sticks will handle them...
