I'm tingling with excitement to see the Brave New World you're concocting at your keyboard. So modern!
It's called Watchful Waiting which was the standard until recently. It changed to Affirmation which means puberty blocks and hormones right away merely based on "feelings". IRCC Finland, Sweden, and France (maybe), and recently the UK have all abandoned Affirmation and have gone back to Watchful Waiting due to lack of good scientific evidence associated with Affirmation.

Yes. It's called Self-Identification which means any man can simply declare himself a woman and depend to enter woman's change rooms. If any woman disagrees she is a hateful bigot. Sounds fair doesn't it?

....but you can get Lupron (puberty blocker - hormone therapy if you wish) without a doctor seeing you for a diagnosis.
I suspect your confidence about 10 year olds - particularly girls starting Tanner Stage II puberty - in Canada may be misplaced.....

I suspect it is still slightly in favor of handguns, but probably much closer, and even a cursory glance can see the modern trend towards semi-automatic rifles.
