So what's youe solution ???
Hate on people that are different than you that you don't understand ?
No but if its a mental illness then you would treat it like any other mental illness, therapy or drugs, instead of encouraging it. If its not a mental illness then just let them lead their lives as they see fit

It is not a mental illness. They should just be free to live the way they want to. The only thing I dont agree with is transitioning too early. Let them get to 18 and then decide what they want to do.

I agree with that anyone should be able to live the way they want and like you said 18 is age appropriate. Our society doesn't feel that people under 18 have the mental maturity to vote or drink but they can determine whether they are a boy or girl at 10?

That I am against as well, yes. Recently there was a case where the mother found out that the 21 year old social worker in the school gave her 13 year old daughter a chest harness and started using he/him pronouns in the school, without telling the parent. She eventually pulled her kid from the school. That sort of thing is nonsense.

I wish all of them came to that line of defence and brought all their guns and have that battle against their government. And we would not hear about gun problem ever again.
Black Americans weren't allowed to own guns by the American government for a very long time. Care to guess why?

If you're born male and want to have a sex change, hormonal therapy and go through all that crap, chances are there is something off with you (and vice-versa). If you can't see that...
If someone wants to go through all that hassle, they're serious about it.

But instead, let's freak out that some guy might go through all of that just to get an advantage in women's sports.

Good thing our laws don't allow a 10 year old to decide on a sex change or even hormone therapy.

What hassle(s) did Lia Thomas go through to become a woman?

Did he/she walk into a women dressing room simply announced "I am woman, let me through".

I dunno, but it sounds way more horrible than all those people getting shot these days.

Yes, you are correct. Most mass shootings use handguns. However....the deadliest shootings use rifles like the AR-15. The difference between being shot by a 9mm bullet from a Glock compared to the usual .223 round used in an AR-15 is night and day. Yes, the handgun bullet is larger...but it doesn't have the same amount of propulsion in the cartridge. The AR bullet goes like three times the speed and causes incredible damage when it strikes the body. It tumbles inside destroying organs and blood vessels, leaving massive exit wounds. When the rifle was being developed in the early days of the Vietnam war, there were reports of a VC solider getting hit in the butt, and bleeding to death really quickly due to the massive and traumatic damage it did to his body.

The rapper 50 Cent famously got show like 9 times and survived. He was hit by a handgun. Yes, it did permanent damage to him, but it was no way comparable to taking one round from a high powered rifle.

The Washington Post just did a whole thing on the damaging power and difference between these types of firearms, showing exactly what the AR-15 does to victims:

Eliminating AR-15s would not stop mass shootings. However, it would likely make them less deadly...

The trans murderer managed to kill 6 people with a 9mm rounds just fine. No AR needed; as did the Virginia Tech shooter who murdered 32 people with a couple of hand guns.

Why the argument? All guns regardless of type or caliber need to be banned and confiscated. Guns belong at the hands of law enforcement and the military, not civilians. The only guns people should be allowed to have are a few hunting rifles and even in those cases the number of rounds you are allowed to buy should be tracked and restricted.

OK, I told you people how to accomplish that. Instead most want to use the gun matter like the abortion- a political wedge issue.

That is neither here nor there. We all know how that needs to be accomplished and we all know none of us can do anything about it. But if we are debating that issue, then what is your position on that? Do you support banning guns or not?

I am Canadian. Sensible gun laws are not a bad thing.

The founders of the US led a revolution to oust an oppressive colonial power who boasted the best army and navy in the world at the time, and designed a framework for a society that has been the most successful economy in the world, and a beacon for democracy for over 200 years. Those founders believed that the fundamental freedoms needed to achieve that goal included the right of the citizenry to bear arms.

Your credentials for social engineering are?

I think the US founding fathers have proved they knew what they were doing. You, not so much.

It's called Watchful Waiting which was the standard until recently. It changed to Affirmation which means puberty blocks and hormones right away merely based on "feelings". IRCC Finland, Sweden, and France (maybe), and recently the UK have all abandoned Affirmation and have gone back to Watchful Waiting due to lack of good scientific evidence associated with Affirmation.
