I used to. And I understand all these arguments. But my point is that they are insane to not even want to allow sane gun laws. I know my call to ban and confiscate is never going to happen. But that is just my personal recommendation because every country where there was a mass shooting and confiscated weapons, has not had a further mass shooting. The majority of the world treats guns as privilege and regulates and bans them. And they dont have this problem. But the US does.

True NRA always took "the slippery slope" approach - giving in on anything means they'll go after the next thing as you accurately explain. NRA fought machine gun bans, bans on .50 cal sniper rifles, even fought putting "taggants" in explosives so it could be traced. Most of the gun crimes in Canada are from the importation of illegal guns, not by legal gun owners. The U.S also has a lot of criminal gangs. If only the criminals have guns, you have Mexico

Crime will always be present and criminals will always have guns in any country. But the majority of people do not come into contact with criminals. That said, the US does not have cartels the way Mexico does not because of the public having access to weapons, but because of the efforts of law enforcement. So even if all guns were confiscated in the US, it wont impact anything negatively.

It is not a mental illness. They should just be free to live the way they want to. The only thing I dont agree with is transitioning too early. Let them get to 18 and then decide what they want to do.

I agree with that anyone should be able to live the way they want and like you said 18 is age appropriate. Our society doesn't feel that people under 18 have the mental maturity to vote or drink but they can determine whether they are a boy or girl at 10?

That I am against as well, yes. Recently there was a case where the mother found out that the 21 year old social worker in the school gave her 13 year old daughter a chest harness and started using he/him pronouns in the school, without telling the parent. She eventually pulled her kid from the school. That sort of thing is nonsense.
