The CNN article was updated in February and was a report on the third quarter of 2023.
In it it states that 7% of the work force was activated for military duty thereby slowing production and causing a drop in GDP..
GDP of Israel as of April 2024 is shown to have a growth increase of 1.6% as some of the workforce is released from military duty back into the workforce.

Well, the Port of Elait did go bankrupt. And those GDP numbers are roughly half of its neighbors.
We'll have to wait and see, the numbers don't really match but I'd be curious if they are also accurate right now.

Funny thing, though, is that the Arabs were also given land by those same people and actually it was more than what was given to the Jews. Did they create a home for Palestinians to live in peace? A land to prosper and be free instead of being refugees?

The world bank numbers say GPD is growing at 6% and Israel expects it only grow by 1.1%, someone isn't being honest here.
