The Lancet investigated Palestinian hospitals history of counting the dead and found they don't exaggerate.
Why would they? the numbers are horrific enough and they have years of experience knowing they will be checked.

When it comes to reporting on wars, that is beyond their scope. For reporting on scientific studies there is no one more respected. But using them as a source for war reporting is Bizarro world. That's the kind of stuff that you have to resort to to be able to push your propaganda.
