Israel should ideally be considered hostile to the west. They buy out our politicians and control our government via their lobby groups, which ends up with our elected leaders, being in service of a foreign state.
That is racist rhetoric and an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory/trope. Israel is the US' greatest ally in the region. They provide intelligence, warfare/defence technology, protect American interests and are a deterrent to Iran and their nuclear program. What other country in the region provides that to the US?
Your laughable conspiracy theory means that all it takes is money to influence American policy. The oil-rich Arabian countries could outspend the pro-Israel lobby 100X over, at the drop of a hat. If it was that easy, it would have happened already.
That is corrupt and anti-democratic where our foreign policy is being dictated by a foreign state. That is hostile.
As I said above, your theory is moronic and lobbying is a process that all democracies and all regimes routinely utilize. The US is looking out for themselves and is well within their rights to decide which foreign countries best serve their interests, who they consider their allies and who are worthy of receiving their aid.
Only an anti-Semite would say these everyday practices are undemocratic and hostile when it is Israel on the receiving end.
Again, what other country/democracy in the ME provides as much benefit to the US as Israel?
