What’s in the 6-point plan demanded by Israel’s Benny Gantz?
Israeli war cabinet minister Benny Gantz says if Prime Minister Netanyahu fails to agree on a plan before June 8 that includes these six tenets, he will break from his government and attempt to hold elections:
- Bringing back captives held in Gaza
- Topple Hamas, demilitarise the Gaza Strip, maintain “security control”
- Create an international administration of civil affairs that includes Palestinian, Arab and Western elements
- Facilitate the return of civilians to northern Gaza by September 1
- Advance “normalisation” with Saudi Arabia to build up alliances against Iran and its allies across the region
- Adopt a framework for national military service to oversee all Israelis committing to mandatory service
Whatever political construct that replaces the current construct won’t last. The turmoil in Israel hasn’t even begun to play out. This a a society falling apart. Foundational myths have been exposed. The new political structures will have to reflect the changed realities, regional and global. This will reverberate for decades in Israel.

Its an external matter unless you are saying all funding should be cut to the Palestinians. I do have the right to question where my tax dollars go.
Terrorism exists where extremism exists. Extremism is the essence of the Palestinians.

A senior Hamas operative in the terror group’s supply unit was killed in an airstrike in the Gaza Strip yesterday, the military says.
According to the IDF, Azmi Abu Daqqa was involved in smuggling weapons and funds for Hamas in Gaza.
The airstrike was carried out following intelligence provided by the Military Intelligence Directorate, the IDF says.

Reality check. Some of those soldiers are dumb. Some are assholes. Most probably dislike the Gazans because of stuff like the Intifada and 7/10. That soldier should probably get extra KP and a couple of days in the stockade for doing that shit. That's how much it's worth.

How would kids that young have any worthwhile intelligence on anything but their teddy bears?
And wouldn't dropping leaflets simply get their families to hide those kids away?
