Just wondering how do some of you guys afford hobbying so often and with the higher-end providers?

It seems to me that unless you're making $100k or so it would be difficult to see providers often. And the last time I checked the income level in Canada, only a few of you are in the top bracket.

Sounds like you figured it out. The more you make/have, the easier it is to hobby. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Also we high earners have a little bit more control of our days.

I have full control of my days so I can see who I want when I want.

$100k is the basic starting point for income to be hobbying. As you can see only 8% of Canadians make $100k and over. Sad thing is that $100k in Toronto is basic existence. $25k in income tax and $3500 for CPP and EI leave you about $71.5k or about $6k a month take home. If you go to the mp or escort once or twice a month, that is $300 - $600 a month or 5% - 10% of your take home pay. Generally you will find that one a guy has a nice job, a nice car, a nice home, some decent holidays etc.....the thing that is missing is hot babes and the more they make, the more they partake in the lovely ladies...have fun gents.

I am very proud to be part of the bracket but hey, it's not in the $1million per year range either. Since we have rounded the New Year, I am at the point of evaluating the simple math and asking myself why I am spending the amount I do, on this little thing called a hobby.

I think there is hobbying at at all income levels. But poorer hobbyists will partake less and maybe with lower rate sps.

True - what changed for me over the years was the frequency. Ten years ago I would go once to twice a month...now my income is triple of what it was so I go once a week to the MP and my sessions are longer than the half hour - at least with my favourite gals.

I was in the same boat at one point many years ago. I had to take
out a student loan from Scotiabank that charged 10% interest to
make ends meet. My montly expense was limited to $1200. $200
was allocated to biweekly visit to El Solar where I paid around
$80 to $100 for a nude session. Mary the MPA there having
learned I was still in school asked me how I came up with the money.

You either pay by the hour or by the year, decade etc. I know many guys who got divorced and it cost them north of a $1million to get out - that is expensive especially when they are not getting laid after the first two years of marriage and the kids arriving.

Last year I only spent about $2300 on the hobby.

That works out to only $190 a month.

I am one of those poor guys who can only hobby maybe 4 or 5 times a year. So because of that I have to be very selective over who I am going to see. I only see providers who are very well reviewed because I can't really afford to have a sub par session. I can't afford to take a risk on a provider who is not well reviewed. I only pick the best. and since I only hobby a few times here I don't mind having to pay for someone who is more high end. All the best rated providers, Angel Monore, Dina Doll, Valeria Baleza, Jayde Fleming, you name them, I have seen them all because those are ALL I see. If I only hobby a few times a year then I am going to book with the best there is. Seems perfectly sensible to me. and I always book at least 2 hours. I believe the quality of the session is much more important then the quantity of the sessions. and I am not taking a 90 minute bus ride to Downtown Toronto ( I don't have a car and I live outside of Toronto) to see a girl for a measly 45 or 60 minutes that is just a complete waste of time for me. I also feel that because I can hobby only a few times a year it makes each encounter that much more exciting and special. If I was rich and could just hobby any time I wanted it would sort of cheapen the experience and i would get bored. or I would get addicted, not being able to afford to hobby anytime I want forces me to have self control and not be totally obsessed with the hobby. I see these hobbyists bragging about how they saw 100 sps in one year and I feel like they are just addicts bragging about their addiction.

100-150K before taxes is middle class. Upper middle class I think is 200K+ before taxes.

It really depends on the person, not on his income. Some are just really bad with their money. They make say 30k/year and spend it all, max out their cards and lease a merc to look rich. Especially the youth these days. I have a friend who's a waiter at a fast food joint and he spends everything on $500 dollar hoodies, shoes and wallets the moment he gets his paycheck. Some spend it entirely on sneakers. I have no doubt some spend their entire paychecks with SPs.

Some are just your average 50-75k guys that are single, young, unattached, addicted or in love with an SP. Instead of contributing for a downpayment or to retirement savings they spend most of their after tax, after rent income on SPs. Then finally you have your lawyers, consultants, businessmen, skilled tradesmen, doctors... which I believe contribute to the bulk of hobbyists that peruse girls at or above $250/hour or sometimes the occasional BP gem.

There will always be people who hide their income, especially ones who get paid in cash. You can't rely on Statcan for these things. There are also people who made their money elsewhere and heirs.
