I don't think Christians have been brainwashed to hate Muslims. Muslims on the other hand have been taught from a young age to abhor the Jews and to dislike western culture, which is predominantly Christian. That is why we need to be wary about accepting a significant portion of them into our society. They don't share many of the Judeo-Christian values that have built our culture and institutions.
Judeo-Christian values, what a fallacy and a joke! Epitome of ignorance and willful blindness.

No such thing exists, no compatibility between Judaism and Christianity post old testament. Double check those values and return here with sense. No more excuses for such level of ignorance...if you can type here, you can do some research on the internet 😉

The term "Judeo-Christian values" refers to a set of moral, ethical, and cultural principles derived from the shared heritage of the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament) and the Christian New Testament. It is used to describe the religious foundation that shaped Western law, politics, and social norms.

Core Ethical Principles

While Judaism and Christianity have distinct theological doctrines, the concept of Judeo-Christian values focuses on their overlapping moral teachings:

  • The Ten Commandments: Serves as the primary moral framework for justice, prohibitions against theft and murder, and social order.
  • Inherent Dignity of Human Life: Derived from the biblical concept that humans are created "in the image of God".
  • Individual Free Will and Moral Responsibility: The belief that individuals are moral agents accountable for their own actions and choices.
  • The Golden Rule: The fundamental principle to "love your neighbor as yourself" and treat others with empathy and fairness.

  • Objective Moral Truth: The idea that right and wrong are absolute laws established by a Creator, rather than shifting human opinions.

    Historical and Political Context

The term itself is relatively modern and has evolved through distinct political eras:

  • Mid-20th Century Inclusivity: The phrase gained popularity in the United States during the 1930s and 1940s. It was used by religious and civic leaders to counter antisemitism and build a more pluralistic American identity that included Jewish citizens.

  • The Cold War: During the 1950s, the term was widely used to unite the American public against the "godless communism" of the Soviet Union.

  • The Religious Right: Beginning in the 1980s, conservative political movements adopted the phrase to campaign against secularism and defend traditional family structures.

    Criticisms and Debates

The concept is a subject of ongoing cultural and academic debate:

  • Theological Differences: Critics point out that the term glosses over fundamental contradictions between the two faiths. Judaism prioritizes correct action and law (orthopraxy), while Christianity emphasizes correct belief and faith (orthodoxy).

  • Historical Erasure: Many Jewish historians and commentators note that the term "Judeo-Christian" whitewashes centuries of Christian antisemitism and persecution against Jewish minorities in Europe.

  • Political Exclusivity: Some scholars argue the term is used in modern politics as an ideological barrier to exclude other groups, particularly Muslims, by framing Western civilization as strictly Judeo-Christian.
If you would like to explore this further, let me know if you want to look into how these values influenced the legal system, or examine the specific theological differences between Jewish and Christian ethics.

Don't conflate socio-political values with religious ones. What is shared in the former is based on racial lines not religious ones.

The so called shared values were cemented by the hatred for Muslims based on race and Islam challenging both the Christian and Judaism narrative...how could the last colored kid on the block challenge their beliefs.

Jews doesn't believe in Jesus and the Trinity. These are the basis of Christianity without ANY of these there will be no Christianity period!

It's blasphemy in Judaism to believe in any of the above. Ask any Jew where Jesus is at tge moment. Their loathe for him is such that they cannot mention his name but refer to him as JC.

Try better.

JC? Where did you get that from lol...

As a Jew, I have almost never heard any other Jew refer to Jesus as other than Jesus.

Hardly ever Jesus Christ.

Sometimes Jesus F*cking Christ as an angry expletive at some non-religion related issue...

Also, we do not loathe him. We just don't believe he was anything more than a heretic rabbi, with a significant following sect, in his day, and certainly not God , or the son of God.

Actually many Jews do respect the "love of each other" in his teachings, as compared to the "fear of God" taught by most rabbis of his time.

judeo-Christian values 🤣 they spit on churches in Israel. They break statues of Jesus in Palestine and gaza. I watched a clip from Tucker Carlson where he says that Christians flourish in Jordan under the Muslim king. They are actually doing better than Muslims in most cases economically. The same is the case in Palestine. But as soon as Israel starts taking over, churches are getting vandalized and broken, Christians are oppressed. Don’t ever make up this judeo-Christian bs anymore. It’s a lie. 2 seperate religions. That term was coined to use Christians. Will never fall for this

That was the point of his post, wasn't it?
Wrong...you really believe Christian churches teach to hate Muslims? have you been to one? I don't like my religion either but that's not what they teach there lmao....A guy started a thread "I will never hate Muslim again and claims to be Christian" is believable enough...lol... I don't like Christian churches because they are hypocrites...they pass around those baskets for $$$ and enrich themselves....i have not recall them calling believers of other religion "infidels"...

This thread was never about Christians teaching hate to Muslims...

There is nothing called Judeo-Christian values. It is a made up term by the Israel first twats to manufacture a sense of (non-existent) shared values.
There is no alignment of values between Judaism and Christianity and in fact there are profound theological disagreements.
Jesus was a Jew who was snitched on by other Jews and eventually killed by the Romans.
Jews were also subject to genocide by Christians and anti-semitism was rampant in the west.
Given this history, one couldn't possibly be deluded enough to think that "Judeo-Christian" values are a thing or that they built our culture and institutions. lmfao.

Idk, I recently remember Christians bombing Muslims and killing 3000 people, along with 200 kids.
I also remember Jews committing genocide.
And Christians starting wars all over the world, in the Middle East, Africa, South America, supporting brutal dictatorships.
And Jews, with moral and economic support by Christians, bombing schools and hospitals, pulverizing communities, starving and torturing and raping people, cutting
off humanitarian aid, stealing land, kicking families out of their homes for themselves.
All under the guise of reclaiming a land they haven't lived in for thousands of years because it says so
in a book that they made up, about a god they made up, that says they're the chosen people.

You gotta love those Judeo-Christian values.
