Ok well I thought things were going really well for green bay so far this offseason...

Up until last night anyway...

1) Favre does have one more season in him
2) They drafted the best linebacker in the nation likely a star in A.J. Hawk @ number 5 yesterday
3) Signed Charles Woodson(unforunently for SEVEN YeARS???)

The bad now:

1) TRADED JEVON WALKER(all pro Wideout) for a SECOND ROUND PICK????????????????????????????????????????????? I mean what the fuck even if the man said he'd retire...Oh my god this just fucked the packers for the entire season... The offense just went down the toilet... Guess its all on Donald Drivers shoulders again to be the man to catch some footballs... I mean sure Ahman Green can open up the passing game if he manages a solid season(or even a solid game here or there) but that's not going to do the same as requiring a team to cover two all pro wideouts....

Green Bay is officially fucked again...

As a Bronco fan, i am happy as hell, it was either Walker or we were gonna draft chad jackson, who i like but i dont think will have an immediate impact like Javon will.

Grabbing him for our 37th overall pick was a steal,IMO. His new contract will be a 6 year, 10 mil guranted.


I also love the fact the Jay cutler slide down, and we moved up, when Leinhart and Jay slide, i knew we were gonna make a move, and i am very happy with the outcome.

On a side note, damn.......... look out for the Arizona Cardinals

Get over it. Javon Walker had one good year and is coming off a season long injury. I think the Packers did ok to get a 2nd rounder for him. Nobody would have gave a first rounder for him and he clearly wanted out. Do you really believe that the Packers could have been a Superbowl contender with Walker on the field ?

Wait for the free agent signings -GB did alright with a second round pick for a oft injured reciever. I think a decent WR may be available before or even after camp starts...if they can also pick up a TE with good hands they'll be way ahead of last year.

AJ Hawk and Abdul Hodge are going to provide a solid LBing corp for a long time. Not sure what's to complain about especially if it revolves around a great QB that has become very selfish of late. Loss a bit of respect for the way he prolonged his intentions thus screwing with the Pack's plans. Not as despicable as what Barry did to the Lions but along the same lines.

Speaking of the Chargers... what the hell was the reason for drafting a QB in the 3rd round??? We already have an unproven QB who might be our starting QB, should we not be looking for a back up with some experience??? Shit, after some of the mistakes that Drew Brees made last year, the coaches still did not give Rivers much playing time.....You have to wonder how confident the coaches are in Rivers.....How about a WR who would stretch the defence a bit.... Not sure what's happening to last year's second round WR draft choice but he was a gamble, and did not play much last year....

I want them to bring Junior Seau back.....

I actually hope that Cutler does well.... I love rooting for the underdog... I think that Cutler is moving into a great situation.... Plummer has another year or two left in him, Denver has a great team and there is no pressure for him to be the saviour.....

San Diego's secondary sucks, and they took Cromartie who has really only had one year (I think) of college football, and spent all of last year recovering from an ACL injury.... not good odds in my opinion...

Bush in N.O... Personally, I don't think that he is going to be such an inpact as we are led to believe.... Many times before Bush came along we were led to believe that some speed burner change the view of small guys... Rocket Ismail was one such "scatback"..

Young could (probably) be a huge bust at #3... A couple of games leading up to the BCS game, I was sure that he was not that good... but the game that he played against USC shows his potential......... Regardless, the guy is going to be set for life if he never starts an NFL game and manages his guaranteed money well..

AJ Hawk... I hope that this guy becomes the best LB ever to play the game... he has the attitude...

D'angelo Williams... will finally get to prove that he belongs....or does not...
