Choron, I think you better throw out that rotten block of cheese on your head, as it seems to have disabled some areas in your brain. The Packers have never taken their division 4 times in a row. They won 3 from 2002-2004, but thats also in the NFC North which is the worst division in football. The NFC North only has playoff teams because of the current NFL playoff format. Bubba Franks has never had more than 450 yards and has been considered much of a disapointment, although he did score 9 TDs in 2001 and 7 TDs twice in his career. Favre should have retired before last season. The Packers are weak in every area. KGB fell like the soviets. Hows it going to feel looking up to the Lions again ?

I think you are wrong about the worst division in the NFL. I think its the NFC west. Ever since the NFL went to divisions the format hasnt changed except for wild card teams. I guess DA BEARS didnt deserve to go to the playoffs last year . If i remember right the had the second best record in the NFC and a number 2 seed. Wonder why they had the 26th pick in the draft to start out with, o ya they sucked.

The NFC North has turned out some good records, but they haven't had a superbowl appearance in 10 years. The Bears had a good record, as have the Pack and the Vikings when Denny Green was still around. The NFC West has been pretty weak for a few years, but at least they have some Superbowl appearances. The NFC North always chokes and the team that makes the playoffs does so because the division is so bad. The NFC East actually used to be worse than the NFC North, but that was before 2000.

Ok Ok ok...first off let me try to ask you something:

What the fuck does "KGB fell like the soviets." mean? Like I'm pretty sure I'm speaking english today and this looks more to me like gibberish...What are you calling Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila ? Are you saying he sucked or like what the fuck you saying?

Bubba Franks doesn't need to catch more than 500 yards a season because of his effectiveness in the red zone...

The X-factor this season for my team is Ahman Green, can he get back to being an 1800 yard back... I personally wanted him released and for them to sign Edge or stick with their 2nd year dude from Kenya "Godo"...<---------Isn't that a kick ass cool name? He looks like he's ready to run the 30k too hahaha!

And ummmmm I think the defense is going to be much much improved next season....

Al Haris(he's ok) will move back to the position he should be playing second starting corner as Green Bay signed former multi-time all pro Charles Woodson... Though Al Haris could lose his corner and move to safety in line with the progession of Ahmad Carrol(who quite frankly stank the place out last season)... I'm a tad bit worried about the safety...

A-J Hawk signed to now a very talented young group of linebackers...That also consisting of X-Defensive rookie of the year Nick Barnett(team leader in tackles)

The line looks very solid up front with KGB and Aaron Kampman(hope to see him improved off of last season)...Green Bays defensive tackles are nothing special in anyway but they are good against the run plugging up the middle only...Very little pressure comes from the DT's for this team...

The season is starting to look up for Green Bay...The departing of Walker is seriously frustrating though...I hope Donald Driver is ready to bare the load again... The Packers should look to trade for a guy like Keenan McCardell or something... A vet receiver that still contributes to the offense would be a perfect fit...

KGB had his lowest sack total since his rookie season last year. Saying the Packers are going to the Superbowl is like saying the Stones are an up and coming band. Face it, they are has beens. If Woodson is so great, why did the Raiders let him walk ? Ahmen Green was the whole offense and unless he comes back better than ever, the Pack doesn't have a chance. From a talent perspective, they are the worst in the NFC North, and the only team that has less talent in the whole NFC are the 49ers. At least the 49ers are rebuilding. The Packers have a lot of over the hill talent that will never regain their glory years. You can't win on the field with memories. The Pack needs a complete overhaul to have any success. The O-Line is weak, the D-line is not great. The linebackers and DBs are horrible, and without Green, theyre running game was bad. Favre is not the QB he once was. Had the Pack brought in the Edge and TO, I would think they would be in the playoffs. But with no wide recievers, a depleted group of WRs and a TE that is living off season long past, the Pack doesn't bring much to the table. I don't think anyone believes they can win games purely with their defense, so the Pack is fucked. Here is a trivia question for you : Who was the 1st Packers QB to ever lose a playoff game at Lambeau ?

Fellas, the Packers did not stink the place out last year..... .Brett Farve was completely off his game last year..... To me it's obvious that he had too many things on his mind last year....

Here are the 2005 Passing yards leaders...
Pas Yds Att Comp TD INT Lg Pass Rating
1. Tom Brady NE 4110 530 334 26 14 71 92.3
2 Trent Green KC 4014 507 317 17 10 60 90.1
3 Brett Favre GB 3881 607 372 20 29 59 70.9
4 Car Palmer CIN 3836 509 345 32 12 70 101.1
5 E Manning NYG 3762 557 294 24 17 78 75.9

2004 Stats...
1 P Manning IND 4557 497 336 49 10 80 121.1
2 D Culppr MIN 4717 548 379 39 11 82 110.9
3 Drew Brees SD 3159 400 262 27 7 79 104.8
4 D McNabb PHI 3875 469 300 31 8 80 104.7
5 B Rthlsbgr PIT 2621 295 196 17 11 58 98.1
6 Bran Griese TB 2632 336 233 20 12 68 97.5
7 Trnt Green KC 4591 556 369 27 17 70 95.2
8 Mrc Bulger STL 3964 485 321 21 14 56 93.7
9 Tm Brady NE 3692 474 288 28 14 50 92.6
10 Br Favre GB 4088 540 346 30 17 79 92.4

There is no way that Favre has dropped so far in one short year.... The physical tools are still there, the gun is still there... but last year, he just looked like his mind was somewhere else.... For gods sake, there some interceptions that were so obvious, even the defenders were shocked when the ball was thrown right at them!!!!!!

Favre is going to be back to his old form this year... so don't worry....

As far as the Packers is concerned... you cannot have your QB go +13
(TDs-INTs) in 2004 the drop to -9 in 2005. That's a difference of 22 tds from year to year...... no team is going to do well with those stats....

I also think that the effect of guys seeing him play so badly threw the team off as well.....

You heard it here first... Brett Favre is going to kick some ass this year...

Anyone who loves football has to love Favre. I just hate to see a guy that could have went out great going out like that. Perhaps thats the reason Favre came back this year. He is the ultimate warrior, but unfortunately he is past his prime. He could pull off a probowl season if he had a great supporting cast like the Vikings had during the Denny Green , but the Pack doesn't have anyone who even remotely resembles Randy Moss and Cris Carter. The moment Mike Vick came in and beat the Pack out of the playoffs, Favre knew he was the first to lose at Lambeau and has never played the same at home again. Look at the tapes. His numbers at home plummited after that game. He had an extrodinary year two years ago when his father died, wife was diagnosed with cancer etc, but he is looking worn now. He has nothing to accomplish other than to go out on a better note. I am actaully happy that he wasnt traded to another team. #4 in any other uniform than the ugly yellow and green would seem wrong. As per Gado, I think his last name is Godot. Take it from Samuel Becket.

What the heck are you smoking? 29 ints.10 fumbles, 7 lost. It was pure bliss to watch DA BEARS knock the snot out him after being tormented for so many years.By the time they got done with him the second time around last December he walked off the field and didnt even know where he was at. The picture of him looking out his helmet ear hole was priceless. I'm glad DA BEARS start and then finish this coming season with the Pack. I just hope he is still standing the last week so i can make a killing on my 2 extra tickets I have for his last game. When he does walk or crawl off the Soldier Field turf for the last time I am sure BEARS fans will give him a standing O just like Packer fans gave Walter Payton on his last trip to Cheesehead land. :D

Da Bears were the 2nd worse passing team in football. Good thing they had the basics down. But with that passing attack they will never get to the big game. Lovie Smith brilliance or not. That year passed in 2000.

What do you expect from a third string rookie qb? he did win 11 games though at the helm which had only been done twice before. Marino and Big Ben i would say thats pretty good company. I would be willing to wager that they will be in the top 20 this year in passing. Are you a Lions fan?

He did not "win" 11 games....... he was the last warm body....

Actually, I like Orton, and I wish him all the best...

My point about Favre was obviously missed by the beer swigging bears fan... there is no way that a QB or player of his calibre or consistency over such a long period of time just loses it overnight..... Keep hoping however

40 mil is too much for an injured player with one good season under his belt. I can't believe there are Kyle fucking Orton fans. Actaully comparing him to Marino and Big Ben is hilarious. He was so good that he got benched as soon as Rex Grossman was ready. The Bears obviously didn't have any confidence in him. Hes like Trent Dilfer minus the Superbowl ring that everyone forgets he won.

I'm not a Kyle Orton fan. And i was not comparing him to Marino and Big Ben i just pointed out that he joined them 2 as rookies who won 11 games.
