Knock at the Cabin
Directed by M Knight Shyamalan, he didn't write screenplay. Stars Dave Bautista, in a serious, non action role. Nice to see him expanding his acting range.
Plot: He and 3 others have to convince a a gay couple who have a young daughter that in order to save the world, they must decide on which family member to sacrifice to save humanity.
Edge of yer seat suspenseful film, I give it a 7/10.
It reminded me of the comedy horror "The Cabin in The Woods" in which humans must be sacrificed to appease the gods to save the world.

Btw that slap to Chris Rock is becoming even more expensive for Will Smith, the writers strike is making matters infunately worse for him. The box office is now edging to spontaneity, films that appear genuine rule the box-office. The Super Mario Bros Movie and Spider Man: Across the Spider Verse. are making Fast X and The Little Mermaid eat their shorts. Has Miles Morales become the most beloved character in a film. It will probably make more money than the contrived live action Spider Man film.

The Rock got sweet revenge for being let go by DC. Shazam bombed far worse than Black Adam did. Fast X''s box-office is lukewarm at best - it probably wont make the till that Hobbs and Shaw did. So now another Sergeant Hobbs film has been green lit, I hope Vanessa Kirby is in it.
John Boyega doesn't need Star Wars garbage, his career is going great without it.

We've come full circle, this thread started with a Christopher Nolan film - his least successful. According to the buzz, Oppenheimer is his crowning achievement. RDJ is correct, Nolan never assumes that is audience are weak people, silly people.
