Rebranded his Trump Tower Hotel in Toronto.......LOL!!
Whoa there’s so much more to it than that. He was in that project together with a Russian/ukrainian oligarch. There were lawsuits associated with it. I’ll find a link in a moment. But basically another fraud which was just on the line and not prosecutable, so just a “smart business”.

edit - here’s the link

Yes, but those are usually the internal polls by the campaign themselves.

I am not saying never report on polls.
I am saying focusing on polls and obsessing over every shift still within the margin of error is bad journalism.
These are polls sponsored and financed by the various media. Rarely do we hear about internal polls from the campaigns itself.
For sure the campaigns pay close attention to the polls, and accordingly structure their various platforms that are designed to attract certain crucial sections of the population.

A little grounding for both sides. Still tied.
Strangely, Newsweek seems to be running overly-dramatic and conflicting headlines on polls every day. I don't think there is much real journalism being done there, but people still remember the name.

All depends on where you look right now.

The inflation deflection is not a great look for her. Just a lot of pandering and posturing. I don't think it really helps her.
We will see.
I doubt either of us is representative of the general public.

Americans know if the govt. prints excessive amounts of money prices go up. Businesses see more demand in nominal dollars. It was a systemic process across the world. The price increases go all through the supply chain to the basic commodity prices. More dollars chasing the same amount of goods.
Americans (people in general, really) have shown very little understanding of what controls prices.

Yes, they immediately framed it as "price controls".
Her team probably should have anticipated that and been more prepared.

There might be price-gouging laws on the books, but they are likely never enforced because they rarely make sense.
"Likely".
So you don't know, you're just guessing.
