Earlier to-day, the police released photos of the G-20 most wanted. Also, heard on CTV that a transit worker turned himself in rather than wait for the knock on the door. Hope they catch them all. Apparently, the vast majority of these hooligans are not locals.

I kind of figured that. Why trash your own city when you can trash someone elses...?

Good, hope they catch them
It would be good to see a most list, with pictures of the numerous police officers breaking the law. One of the most notable instances was police officers removing their name tags and badge numbers so they could act with immunity.
Not to mention the police assaults and the denial of Charter rights.

I would like to see both sides held accountable. Arrest these vandals, but lets also see a review and some dicipline for the Police Officers who broke the law.

Not likely to happen since McGuinty fully supported the actions taken by the men and women in blue. I guess that means even the one's who acted like jackass get a get out of jail free card.

Well since McGuinty invoked marshall law by lying about the Public Works Act, I dont expect McGuinty to be looking to discipline police for ignoring the Charter, McGuinty ignorned the Charter himself.
BUt even though i dont expect any POlice officers to get in trouble for what they did, I dont mind shining the light on abuses, so that mabey they will think twice next time before breaking the law.

Notwithstanding .... the vandals and thugs who terrorized Toronto should be caught, charged and punished. For the most part the men and women in blue did a fine job under trying circumstances. I commend their efforts.

Agree.

Are you kidding, the police did a terrible job!!! We pay these guys a billion dollars to do one simple job and they have to resort to a "G20 most wanted" list because they couldnt catch these fools in the first place? Instead they catch a bunch of other people who didn't do it! It is an absolute scandal, there should be a full investigation into how our money was spent and why the anarchists were not stopped immediately.

Hey I agree with you completely. Well, maybe not the part about terrorizing Toronto. They burned a few cars and broke a few windows. If they had been terrorizing anyone, I think the cops would have done something about it. And I might add that for the most part all those thousands of protesters did a fine job too. I hope the thugs in blue that were so disrespectful to the uniform will be charged and punished.

The ones 'terrorizing' Toronto are the anarchists who travel from city to city trying to cause shit. Their whole "thing" in life is to cause shit.

Unfortunately, the anarchist undermine the good that the real protesters are trying to do. I believe that we need to voice our opinion on matters thatcoincern us and we must ensure that we keep our governments acocuntable. Unfortuantely, the whole "protest" gets washed out because the police have to deal with the anarchist who use the cover of the real protesters to do their bullshit. We are all victims of the anarchist as our right to protest is overridden by the government's responsibility to keep the peace and protect the public. True, some innocent people got caught up in the police sweeps but that is the price we must pay to keep our city secure.

Poll after poll show that the vast majority of Torontonians agree with you. Under extraordinary circumstances, we need to cut the police some slack. Anyway, there has been 10,000 protest marches since the G-20 and there have been no major incidents. Memo to protestors, behave yourself and all is good.

I don't know that its been established where the vandals reside when they are trashing police cars, but I don't think that a particularly significant point. I certainly agree that people need to voice their opinion on important matters and that the message is lost when the media are covering burning police cars. Personally, I think the government and the media prefer it that way. And the public, unfortunately, is far too apathetic and disengaged to really care.

LOL So what were those detention cells really like? And how did the police treat you? Oh, wait....you were among those arrested, locked up and denied access to legal advise for 48 hours for singing the national anthem weren't you, or did you mean that is the price others must pay for daring to speak out against injustice.

Don't hold your breath.

By the way, I find the violations of charter rights more important than a few broken windows.
