I hope someone can help me on this.

Here's the situation. An MP owner (which I will not name) is mentally abusing a worker who is very new to the business and wants out. Problem is she has limited English.

All I'm wondering is if there is a telephone number I can give her.. where she can get some good advice (like where she can apply for a job, etc.) in Mandarin. She's not a slave, in that I believe she is free to quit... but, she's working 7 days a week for about a hundred dollars.. so, in my eyes she is.

Her best bet would be to talk with friends, family, etc to get a lead on where she can go to work. If she truly wishes to get ahead she should be looking at ESL courses as the job prospects for someone who doesn't speak English are very limited.

Thanks CC.. called the number, but, no answer.. just busy I guess.. wanted to make sure they have Mandarin speaking volunteers. I'm sure they do.

Moraff - she's pretty much on her own, no friends, etc.
