i checked the schedule and realized that half the games are going to be on Sportsnet 1, a channel that i cant get with Bell, only with Rogers.

I just checked the Bell Fibe brochure and it appears that Sportsnet 1 is available in their "Sports Fan" package. Is Fibe available in your area?

I'm on Bell Satelite and I get SN1 now for free. Think it comes in on channel 418. Supposed to be free for the next while and has been for many months. WTF?

Isn't there a way by now to watch all the games online?? With MLB.com or similar. I thought I saw something in the news this week about appletv being able to subscribe to the service for ~$100 a season.

Make sure your local pub down the street gets SPN 1 and have a beer on those particular nights.
I'd rather buy a pint and tip my favorite waitress than give Rogers any $.

I'm with Shaw Satellite, get all the Sportsnets. Their customer service is amazing. Had Bell expressvu and switched because of the piss poor customer service.

Trying to understand which cable they were going to cut. Did you have a Bell sat dish and they were cutting the cable to that? Presumably you would be getting rid of that dish anyway, so why would it matter?

On the other hand if they were about to touch your phone wiring, I would tell them to get the fuck away. They like to sneak in their "home phone" service which involves severing your Bell landline without your knowledge.

they were going to cut the wire from the dish coming into the house. and as i said in my original post i wanted to keep Bell tv for my one room and get Rogers for my other room. But i checked and Bell know offers Sportsnet 1, on 418, 1409, so fuck Rogers.
