I say Johnnys is my second Choice.. The best place to get great burgers and fries is the C & W's on Dundas between 427 and Dixie. It use to be out of a old house on the South side but has since moved next door. They have had the best bugars that i have ever tasted. I am surprised no else said that one.

Yeah man. The Fire Pit just south of Finch on Yonge had to be one of the coolest and most romantic burger joints in the city.They had some really cool Italian jokers working there.Meister said:

It is still open, sorry to inform you. They just moved out of that rat fested house to the industrial unit next door. Same owner but i think you maybe right about the name. Think it might have been changed to C&N or something like that. Appache isn't bad, jonnys never impressed me. Golden star always had to many rich brats there for my taste.
Two that aren't there any more were the Ionian at Spadina and Bloor and Brothers in the Scientology building on yonge. Both had good tasting large burgers.
There are a ton of mom and pop places that make a good burger. I have my favourite near work.
Recently tries Acme burger on the Queensway near Royal York (and the HOL) and it was better than Jonnys or Appache.
Two that aren't there any more were the Ionian at Spadina and Bloor and Brothers in the Scientology building on yonge. Both had good tasting large burgers.

I recently discovered Acme Burger on Queensway at Royal York. A buddy of mine goes there twice a week.
