Listen, I know there are some posters on this board who love to play the race card and demonize Christians http://news.nationalpost.com/news/c...ross-canada-rally-to-resettle-syrian-refugees and white people but what are the mosques and million strong Canadian Muslim community doing to resolve the Syrian refugee crisis and ISIS who is causing this crisis? Have any Canadian Muslim volunteered to go overseas to fight ISIS? Have any Canadian Muslim volunteered to go overseas as an aid worker to help the refugees over there?
I seem to remember during the Vietnamese "boat people" crisis the Chinese Canadian community expended considerable time, effort and resources to bring the refugees to Canada and integrate them into Canadian society.

No one said second generation wouldn't be successful. First generation tend to be successful within ten years of arrival. The question was how long it takes before they move out of self imposed racial segregation and truly integrate. Second generation tend to still live in the ethnic bubble even if they work outside it.

it's the bigotry of lowered expectation on a worldwide scale. christian and white dominated countries and churches are asked to take refuges while arab muslim gulf states and mosques are allowed to reject and not helping refugees.
I was in Germany in the early 90s a short time after the Berlin Wall came down. There was a large influx of Easter Europeans into Germany at that time. There was great resentment from the population of all these foreigners. It is not uncommon at that time to hear local people call them ausländer ( outsider or foreigner ) to their face to make them unwelcome. Sometimes they were called worse things.
Germany plans to take in 800,000 refugees, far less than the Easter Europeans that were allowed in in the early 90s. It will not be an easy integration into German society. Taking in almost 1% more into a population can not be easy.

If too many of them land in Germany and Germany does seem the preferred land for some reason, I believe we will see a re-birth of the Nazi mentality. Germany already has a non-immigration political party(s) that is increasing in strength each year as Germany allowed Muslims to flood in. Now a million or more are planning to arrive over a two or three month period all screaming for their rights as we saw on the videos of them at the train station in Hungary. Yet still some of our politicians want to stop the harassment of ISIS, want us to leave the bastards that are causing the problem in the first place. Justin and Thomas want ISIS to carry on creating new migrants / refugees. Canadians should be demanding that these two reveal just exactly their secret agenda is before the election.
If you want to stop ISIS, let the Syrian Arab Army do its job and lend support to it. Stop Turkey facilitating the transit of jihadists from Turkey into Syria.
Get the US to stop funding and training that 'free Syrian Army'. Get Israel to stop cooperating with the heart-eating 'moderate' terrorists Jabhat Al-Nusra Front.
And most important, get Saudi Arabia and Qatar to stop funding, equipping and training ISIS and get them to abandon the regime change project against Assad that brought war and destruction to Syria. Syria is a secular state. Don't let Saudi Arabia turn it into an Islamic Fundamentalist State, like in Saudi Arabia itself.
People are fleeing Syria because of ISIS, and not because of Assad. The Syrian Army is fighting (especially for its Christian soldiers), not so much for Assad, but to preserve a secular way of life.
