And Don Cherry hasn't been relevant since 1996. His contributions to hockey have been mostly regressive and negative. Imagine making a living promoting dirty hits and concussions for a decade AFTER we put Probert in the ground.
He never promoted dirty hits and concussions, lol...Him and Matt Cooke almost went at it over Cherry criticizing him for his dirty play...I'd say stick to women's hockey but even that might be to physical for you at this point.

Cite the study please, interested in knowing who wrote it.
''A large Swedish study did not find that milk consumption increases bone density and actually suggested a potential link between high milk intake and increased mortality and fracture risk. The study, published in the BMJ, followed over 100,000 Swedish men and women and found that those who consumed more milk did not have a lower risk of fractures and, in fact, had a higher rate of death''

From an AI overview.

Based on observational data so....

I'd rather have citation of the ACTUAL STUDY fuck AI. Will read it later, out for the day.

You have this whole stream of positive studies coming out because the federal government and the Dairy Farmers of Canada (take a guess who subsidizes them?) are pumping all this money into what is basically a wild goose chase,” says Pippus. “It’s a really clever way to advertise because it’s effective. If you put the word ‘science’ on it, consumers trust it a lot more.”

Here's the actual study.

From your link:

To say that Anna Pippus was unimpressed by the press release would be an understatement. “This is outrageous,” she recalls thinking after reading it. “This is so unscientific. It’s totally improper.”

Though she is not a politician or a scientist, Pippus is interested in politics and research — specifically, policies and studies that affect farm animals. As the director of farmed animal advocacy for Animal Justice...

So you posted an article that says "Animal advocate doesn't like words in press release". Not an article that says "milk bad"

This is the best answer as to why Don Cherry should have been turfed out of HNIC long ago. Probert's appearance on Grapevine was both disgusting and heart-breaking, CHCH got the message while the CBC buried their head in the shitter.

The opening of the Bob Probert Wing at Windsor Hospital.

Milk it does a body good, as a cancer patient it's a hard fact. When I have a glass of milk, an hour before going to bed, I can sleep at night. Otherwise the cancer medication will give me heartburn.

I watched Probert on Grapevine. What was the problem with it?

You weren't paying attention, Probert had moon eyes and semi coherent. He could barely speak. CHCH pulled the plug on Grapevine not long after the episode.
I didn’t notice anything like that, I understood everything Probert said

This episode is from 1993..."Don Cherry's Grapevine" ran on CHCH from 1982 to 1986.

I know it's from 1993 because Probert talks about Gallant being with Tampa and 93-94 is when he started there.

Here's science,... humans are now baby cows (calves).

No there isn't. 1 Swedish study that says: YES milk increases bone density, but it doesn't reduce fracture risk. Almost like correlation and causation are different things.
Your bones are made of minerals, not solely calcium (which is one mineral) as you have been fooled to believe, MINERALS.

The irony, the same guy (Professor Karl Michaëlsson ) who did that study also did a study years ago and stopped drinking milk because of its findings.

Dude it's simple, humans are not baby cows (calves), it's literally not intended for us. I stopped years ago and can tell with 1000% honesty, I have felt better and my weights have increased in the gym.

One thing about Sweden, they love their milk because it's heavily subsidized by their government, almost 50% goes to dairy, it's a industry($$$), they want a return on their investment. Then big pharma comes in with their products to help you with your disease and ailments thanks to your breast feeding of cows, make that seem normal, titty sucking off of a cow and you're human.

Great catchy marketing phrase, here's another "got Milk?"
You just showed how much it works.
Mic is extremely thorough in his work, so there's irony with your milk consumption and cancer.

You all can hate on Cherry all you want, he's a Canadian and hockey icon, zero doubt about it.

Thank you for that Oracle, I couldn't remember if an inebriated Bob Probert caused the cancellation of Don Cherry's Grapevine on CHCH. Probert was a fearsome fighter when he was intoxicated, he messed Wendel Clark up. Tie Domi messed him up when he landed haymakers on him when he was trying to get clean. After that he never attempted to sober up again.

Thanks..I've watched several interviews with Probert and I would agree that given the timelines of his arrests and the airing of that show. It's safe to assume you are correct that he was intoxicated at the time.

McSorely was a tough one...Smart fighter as well

McSorely breaks down fighting in the NHL..Good interview.

This is what Google says...

Don Cherry's Grapevine was a television show that aired on CHCH-TV in Hamilton, Ontario, from 1984 to 1993, according to IMDb.

This is my favourite clip on Cherry. Don hitting Ron in the head with an elbow pad.
Go to the 3:34 mark.
