On marrital speedbumps...

I do not regret getting married but nothing really prepares you for the rough patches. In our day and age, it is easier to give up and consult a divorce lawyer. But you have to be honest with yourself and reflect on what
really gives meaning to your life.
I stumbled across Hobbyland because of my frustration with my sex life. I thought I was going to fly solo, spanking the monkey for the rest of my life before I found this 'hobby'.
But after a year of intense hobbying, with numerous encounters with some of Montreal's hottest SPs and MPs, I am wondering if I wish I never hobbied.
I have one close friend of mine, much older and wiser than me, who I have admitted my extra-marrital excursions to. He does not hobby and does not judge me. In fact, he told me that as long as nobody gets hurt, I am just doing what all men are biologically programmed to do. Moreover, he told me that my wife is cheating me out of sex, so I shouldn't feel so bad about cheating on her. "It's a perfectly normal response."
However, he warned me that I will not find what I am looking for in Hobbyland: "In the end, you're only postponing long-term pain with short-term gain."
Like I said, he is older and wiser than I am.
