I was watching this show on Food Network. Anyone willing to share their favourite diner, drive-in or dive destination in Ontario?

For an inexpensive breakfast that is very filling I like Wimpys. For under $10 you can have four eggs, four pieces of pee-meal bacon, home fries toast and coffee. I often skip lunch after this breakfast.

Thought one place in Ontario that could get a visit from DD&D Guy would be Easterbrooks in Burlington - been around for about 75 years or something -mostly a hot dog stand and seems straight out of the 50s - nothing really to the food but a great 'dive' atmosphere - business cards on the wall and feels like an old train carriage (long and narrow)...

Probably wouldn't make DD&D based on the food side of the business (hotdogs with stuff on them).

I saw a promo on the Food Network that Guy Fieri is coming to Toronto for a cooking contest to be televised!

Boston Manor in Burlington. Great burger. Tonight they had the 905 Band on stage. If you like classic 70's and 80's these guys are great.

YES

That's AMAZING. I was just thinking about that place when I read the title to this thread. I remember going there as a kid when my dad and I used to go hiking around Cherry Hill Gate. Incredible. I used to order a foot long hotdog, and then play pinball.

For a kid - it didn't get any better.

ARe they still around??

I'm so going back.
