check on the food network & searchI was watching this show on Food Network. Anyone willing to share their favourite diner, drive-in or dive destination in Ontario?
The author of that may indeed correct, but the article just oozes with anger and jealously and sounds very much this writer had an axe to grind.http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/14/d...merican-kitchen-bar-in-times-square.html?_r=0
Whatever u do, dont go to Guy's NYC resto.
Was used as a location in the Red Green movie.Thought one place in Ontario that could get a visit from DD&D Guy would be Easterbrooks in Burlington - been around for about 75 years or something -mostly a hot dog stand and seems straight out of the 50s - nothing really to the food but a great 'dive' atmosphere - business cards on the wall and feels like an old train carriage (long and narrow)...
Probably wouldn't make DD&D based on the food side of the business (hotdogs with stuff on them).
Charity event for a Toronto hospital.I saw a promo on the Food Network that Guy Fieri is coming to Toronto for a cooking contest to be televised!
Don't be a pussy, you march right down there and show your heart and arteries who's boss!I have still yet to have the coronary burger at Dangerous Dans Diner.
That doesn't sound like it would be very good!four pieces of pee-meal bacon
