I love how everytime you try to have a discussion about the show there's always a few Jokers that always chime in about how the books are so much better.
Something that bothers me about that episode: whose job is it to collect horse piss ?! And why...I mean did Locke carry around a canteen of horse piss just waiting until the time that Jaime would fall off his horse into the mud so that he could offer him a drink from it?
Seems like it required a lot of extensive planning to pull off that prank. Still, not nearly as much planning and execution as what the bastard did to Theon.

If the books are actually better, then it's DEFINITELY better to watch the film\miniseries first - because then you can read the books after and not be disappointed...am I right???
I'll absolutely disagree... Just knowing anything about a story ruins it if you like to become immersed in the whole story arc, etc. Your opinions of the characters will change and the show will ruin that surprise. The author is so good at telling a story.
Yeah the "pranks" in this show seem like a lot of work for the payoff. What about Varys getting the guy that made him a eunuch, how fucking long did that take? 20 years?
It was an illustration to show the imp that he can get his revenge if he is patient enough.

And yet in the latest episode he shows redeeming qualities......that soliloquey in the bath with the Amazon may have gotten him an EMMY nomination. As for the ending with his brother and sister......wow!
I guess time will tell if he was being truthful...

This season has been amazingly great. What an episode. And now we have to include Ygritte among the hotties. Oh and it was a couple of weeks back that Hot Pie baked wolfbread so I figured I'd give it a try LOL
