Here's the original version of "One Love" by Bob Marley & The Wailers from 1965. It's a bit different, done in a ska tempo. The later remake would become one of the best loved songs of all times, it will be played often this week as we remember his death 30 years ago.

Mark James wrote and recorded the first version of "Suspicious Minds" in 1968. It didn't chart for him but Elvis' cover went on to top the charts.

"Wild Horses" was first released by The Flying Burrito Brothers in 1970, a year before The Rolling Stones got their version out on the Sticky Fingers album. The Stones recorded it a few days before their Altamont concert and it shows the influence of Gram Parsons on their style.
