Obviously, oracle picks and chooses to try and defend the indefensible!! The fact is that most of Canada's population are concentrated in the cities such as Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and as well as cities and towns. These are the main regions of infections and death rates. The largest city like Jacksonville barely has a population of 1 million. Urban Toronto is three times that number. So accept the fact that the lockdowns made the difference!!
Tell me what the death rate was for those 3 cities combined vs Florida....Please adjust for age and comorbidities.

Google it for yourself!!

This is the demographics of Canadians in Cities vs Rural areas:

In 2021, the rural population was 6,601,982 people, while the urban population was 30,389,999 people. Source: Census of Population, 1851 to 2021 (3901).

Canada has around 7.6 Million Seniors vs 4.6 Million in Florida!!

Of course I do.
My objection here was to you claiming that the Trump situation wasn't decided in a court of law.
It was.

The other issue is that if you are going to lean on it being a court of law, you need to look at what the court actually considered and decided.

To guide and structure government.
You appear to want to argue that this finding means Trudeau must step down for breach of the constitution.
Presumably, you have argued for every other Prime Minister whose government has ever been ruled to have violated someone's rights to also step down.

If that is not your position, please clarify, I'm happy to hear you elaborate.

But since you clearly are someone who thinks laws and constitutional order is very important, you also know there is no such provision in the Canadian Constitution.
No force of law requires Trudeau step down, even if you think morally it is the right thing for him to do.
Few things.
In the real world, what do those in charge do? Or is that nuance lost? For reference I’ll reference Cheif Bill Blair ( then to be become Minister of Public safety) and the G20…vs people with integrity. let’s broaden it a bit and mention Trump or Peterson too. Clearly it’s you guys with different standards.

Why do you need people to hold you by the hand elaborate so much…you sometimes seem to think, you need others to give you answers on life.

So you tell us, what did the court decide. If you disagree say so and why. Happy to read what you might say. Because you really haven’t given any indication what so ever..odd that.

He is asking, as best you might to compare relative populations. And while lockdowns may have been effective. What did you do for the small business owners or those that lost jobs or significant meagre savings.. Other than “we are all in same boat and will one day make it to shore”

But please no body look at or remember those we threw overboard and sacrificed to save ourselves. And as best you might….do keep in mind, the demographics thrown overboard.

I’ll say this much. At least during WWWii all Canadians volunteered they weren’t just thrown overboard. Those that sacrificed and those that bought war bonds.

This line right here shows how dumb your comment really is. If noise pollution constitutes the use of the EA then it was justified but it doesn't. The Convoy was never a threat or overthrow of the government by far right wing extremists like JT or media wants the public to believe.
So when I saw the fuel dumps on the street I knew it was time to ask about safety, especially when the idiots with butts in their mouths were standing nearby.

Add in the protest wasn't on govt property or in anyway impeded govt business. It did however take place on residential streets and in front of businesses just trying to open again.

And Sloly royally fucked up and let them get entrenched. At that point mob rules overtook reasonableness and the big guns had to be implemented.

I agree a major issue of freezing bank accounts needed to be addressed and that power curbed. The rest however was just about clearing streets. They didn't sent in the water cannons, truncheons or mass arrests(like the G20). And at least now there are better guidelines that can be used in the future.

it’s amazing how little you know. You call about $1,600-$1700/month enough to live on? Especially for those that lost businesses, jobs and or that lost tens of thousands. Saving your sorry ass.

what planet do you live on Frank

Getting fired from CNN = success to you?? :D
Hmmm, let's see. You I'm sure believe Tucker is doing great on X right? Also, Don never cost CNN almost 800M and still counting with more lawsuits pending but I digress, Elon must believe in Don

"Don Lemon is back and Elon Musk has got him. The popular CNN anchor who was pushed out of the cable news channel last year during the turbulent reign of former chairman Chris Licht announced Tuesday he will return with a three-times-a-week podcast on X, the social media platform owned by Musk".

Let us move on to Brian

' In September 2022, Stelter joined the Walter Shorenstein Media and Democracy Fellowship at Harvard Kennedy School. Stelter is a producer on the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show, which is inspired by his first book Top of the Morning.'

If I had to choose of who's will I'd rather be named in, yours and Rodmac combined vs one of theirs, I believe I'd be much farther ahead to be the beneficiary of one of their wills. ;)

Doing 3 podcasts a week pays peanuts compared to the millions he was making at CNN.
Ditto for Stelter or Tucker.

Your argument lies in ruins

Yes, I do agree you can't compare the money coming from a major new network. Regardless if it's Cuomo, Tucker, Lemon, or Stelter, it's a hit to their pocketbook but you cannot compare their level of success to the average person. These folks and I will include Tucker even though I think he is a lying POS will 9 times out of 10 land on their feet and do very well.

This result will mean nothing to the corrupt liberal government or its supporters! The leftie will continue to vote for a government that breaks laws and abuses its own people as long as they push the left agenda
