Oh look, another decent, honest politician working for the people with zero benefit for himself.

When are you people going to wake up and realize that none of them work for you, they don't give a shit about you and they take orders from the bankers, the WEF, corporations (because they're people too).

I haven't heard any lefties trying to justify anything. I have heard the opposite and call for his resignation. Why don't you point out all the lefties trying to justify anything.
"Unlike how corrupt repugs are always supported to nth degree by their fellow deplorables, the Dems who always have more integrity as a party, will force him out."
"They didn't in 2017. This ain't his first rodeo."

The Dems are pretty much universal and united in kicking Menendez out, unlike the GOP's support for Ken Paxton in TX for instance. The GOP are blatantly supporting a notoriously corrupt Trump crony in TX.

In 2017, the evidence against Menendez was far weaker and he was able to argue innocence a lot more convincingly. Hence, he stayed.

He was indicted and tried in 2017. Jury deadlocked. Federal prosecutors dropped the case (Trump's federal prosecutors).
For the record.

Hmm...weaponization? Defund the FBI?
Actually, Democratic governor of NJ telling Menendez he needs to resign. Amongst other democrats.
For the record.

IMHO ...gold bars? Wow he sounds like the shit. Will await the full facts but given the hurdle to press charges makes me think they got him. Moreover, the fact the first card he played was the race card makes me even more suspicious.
So an incompetent DOJ fucks up a case against a sitting Politician? Geez that doesn't happen. Add on the laws suck on corruption and the hung jury is easy to get.

Al Frankin was forced out by the party for such a minor display of a lack of propriety.

There's a totally different mindset between the two parties of what's right and wrong as others have pointed out above.
Lol. Frankin wasn't playing ball with the corrupt ones. The Me Too was an excuse. Considering tge number of payouts Congress made on sexual harassment of interns and staffers his was a hit job.

You do know that means nothing to Butler, right?

Butler has a hound dog's sense of smell when it comes to sniffing out the stench of political maleficence and corruption, but the problem with this hound dog is that it is ONLY his left-y nostril that is in good, working sniffing condition.
You think he is innocent?

Says the dude who's actual experience of doing ANY courtroom stuff is absolutely zero.

But Buddy will tell you when prosecutors "fuck up" or that a "hung jury is easy to get" because he's Buddy. And his moral purity allows him perceptions beyond that allowed to the morally more corrupt rest of us.

Blah. Blah. Blah.

There was the appearance of impropriety and he was forced out.

Andrew Cuomo forced to resign by his party:
The entire New York congressional delegation, including New York's two United States Senators, Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, and over 120 New York State legislators called for Cuomo's resignation, as did House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Bill de Blasio, the mayor of New York City, and Eric Adams, the Brooklyn Borough President and Democratic nominee for Mayor of New York City. President Joe Biden stated his support for Attorney General James's independent investigation;

Donald Trump found guilty of rape in a court of law. Now he's the front runner in the Repug election campaign. Hahahahaha. The party, and even more so, their defenders are total jokes. Not a single one of you has any morals or shame. It gags me to share the same air as you.

Gonna call you the Mullet Party. Instead of "no front too short and no back too long" it will be "no crime too big and no excuse too weak".

Lol. You don't get it do you? Some are protected, some are thrown to the wolves. Cuomo was only forced out because he was too much of an asshole. And hated.

Do you really think Pelosi is clean?

Pathetic defense of the how the GOP circle the wagons over their corrupt ones while the Dems call them out and then get them out. You've got a conspiracy theory for whatever you don't like.

Are you saying Al Franken wasn't liked? You pick and choose what narrative you want to follow to suit the situation. Same game, different day for the Mullet Party.

''The verdict was split: Jurors rejected Carroll’s claim that she was raped, finding Trump responsible for a lesser degree of sexual abuse. The judgment adds to Trump’s legal woes and offers vindication to Carroll, whose allegations had been mocked and dismissed by Trump for years''

How about the presumption of innocence, Darts. You think that should apply before someone loses his job?

Let's do it this way..... Do you think Russell Brand should have been demonetized by YouTube based merely upon sexual assault allegations and before his criminal trial?

So this is your big point?..... That Trump groped, tit-grabbed and fingered his victim, but the jury didn't totally buy that he stuck his dick in her?

So that makes everything okay?

$480,000 in cash. I thought only drug dealers have that much cash.

Anyway, the lefties can't justify his corruption by claiming the GOP might do it as well.

But, your honour, we think the GOP does it as well.
The difference is in the reaction of the respective parties. Dems are calling for his resignation…the GOP would be rallying around him.

His career will be ruined and he will be ostracized, unlike the many Repuglican criminals who are still held in high esteem by the GOP, who pretend it is fake news and no big deal. Attack the Congress, hang the VP, ask to fabricate 12000 votes.....all nothingburgers to the MAGA loons.
Let's see. Twice impeached, multi indicted, a court found sexual predator, foundation closed for misappropriation, serial lier, habitual grifter. If course he has a lock on the gop nomination. You know the party of law and order.

What evidence do you have to support this claim of prosecutorial ineptitude? What specific acts of DOJ incompetence are you referring to?

What specifically is it about the corruption laws that sucks? What evidence do you have that hung juries are easy to get in these cases?

Or are you just making things up (again)?
