I'm glad he decided to return. There's no doubt that he still has some great games left in him.

His arm is still strong and he's got the smarts that only a veteran quarterback can have. It's whether the rest of his body parts can hold up.

I dont mind him returning even though i wish he would go because he has been a Bear killer since he arrived in G.B. We got him once last year and hopefully twice this coming year. My favorite thing to watch him do is how he runs out his fakes after handoffs and certain passes, which you cant see if your watching him on tv. alot of QB's just stand there and dont try to decoy or block. But the best part about him returning is i can Still get a shitload of money from some Cheesehead from Wisconsin that comes down to Chicago to watch their belove ed Fudgepackers play. :D

Steve Young and Troy Aikman did themselves more bad then good hanging on a little to long. He should retire and not risk his health.

Farve is right on the edge of this...but I think he still has one more good yr left in him...problem is...the rest of his team is brutal...

I like Brett but I'd hate to see him get really hurt and have to leave the game on a bad note (injury). I think GB will be worse this season with the loss of Gs Mike Wahle and Marco Rivera. The good thing though is they still have Mike Flanagan (if he comes back fully from knee surgery) .Like I said before I like Brett but he doesnt have much to work with this season, I hope he doesnt try to do too much and get hammered.

Good luck Brett

don't pull a Jerry Rice.

just walk away from the game with your skill still intact and the respect of your peers and the fans with you.

he's pushing the envelope here.

It's interesting how much of this thread revolves around the massive suggested deterioration of Brett's skills. I do think Favre has declined but I don't think the fall has been as great as people suggest. I think the reality is that he is not the Superman anymore that can carry a very, very mediocre team. I've never thought much of the Packers and have always believed Brett has made them a playoff-caliber team. Thus, by this theory, any degradation in Brett's tools only gets magnified by a weak surrounding cast.

What I would like to see is Brett play on a playoff-calibre team with a better cast. I'm thinking a team that needs a QB and has O-players already around. Bills, Lions, Jets maybe.

Regardless, hopefully Favre will have an exit worthy of a Canton bound QB.

brett has been a pleasure to watch play ball.no matter who the pack gets will not make any difference as to how good he will do for 1 more year.the pack have no cash and a loyal fan base that equals 1 more year of a great qb behind a lackluster team.

The only thing that bugs me about Farve is his indecison about retiring and having to let the world know about it. Keep it to yourself and when you so make the decision, stick with it.

His number don't lie - there's no reason he shouldn't return.
47 Interceptions the last two years?

25 out of 30 in passer rating in 2006... worse in 2005.

You might want to re-think your post.

With all the crap QB's out there, I'd take Farve over many QB's. I just can't stand the drama with him.

Same goes to you Roger. Except I think even less of you because of your dumb demands and you being a hot-head (yeah sure you thought the bat was a ball in 2000)

So does that mean he really did come back just to break all those records - passing TDs, passing yards and wins by a starting QB?
Because 2007 was his best season in at least 6 years and the team is young and would potentially be even better in 2008. Odd.

I think I will wait until the NFL season is about to begin.

Even though I am a big Brett Favre fan, I am glad that Chad Pennington had a better year than Favre did.
