There was a ton of coverage of this on NFL Total Access last night and Favre is just hogging up the spotlight when there are so many more interesting stories going on in the NFL Training Camps.. I was never really a big Favre fan to begin with due to his gunslinger mentality, I prefer my QBs to be less reckless with the football and not be a double-agent as they say. And Favre was that - a double-agent. Good enough to keep both teams in the game if you know what I mean. Obviously he has been exceptionally durable throughout his career and the Vikings in my opinion are already a very good team with or without Favre and one could argue they are a QB away from being a SB contender. I watched a lot of Vikings games last season and I saw 3 issues with this team.lawyerman said:Sorry for re-hashing this thread but this guy is destroying his legacy and becoming a bit of a laughing stock in my opinion.
NFL Network's Scott Hanson reports that free agent Brett Favre "will continue to throw and work out" despite telling Vikings coach Brad Childress Tuesday that he wanted to stay retired.
You've got to be kidding. Favre reportedly said he's still not totally sure about whether he'll stay retired or try to play, even after "confirming" he'd re-re-retire to Childress and in an ESPN interview. Asked by Steve Mariucci how he'd feel about his decision on Wednesday morning, Favre replied "I'm wondering that myself."
1. QB play
2. STs play - awful
3. TOs - Especially from All Day.
Fix those 3 things and you have a team that can not only make it to the SB but win it.
