Amen to the comments about the tv broadcast. I just wish the radio broadcast would follow. I think the Blue Jay radio broadcasts are at a low point in the franchise's history.Exactly. It's little things like that, on top of their excellent production quality, that I feel I'm getting educated every game. Zwelling and Hazel also provide up the minute happenings on the field and in the dugout. And Siddall and Joseph provide very technical details in the studio with some personal anecdotes. Oh yeah, and even though she's useless otherwise, Emily has a smoking body. It really is a total package.
I remember one Boston broadcast and they spent about 15 minutes talking about what a good dresser Jim Rice was. A fucking waste of time. The only time they talked about another player a tiny bit was when he was at bat. I think he passed but Jerry Remy had to be the biggest homer of all time.
No doubt Remy was biased, but he was no match for 'Hawk' Harrelson of the Chicago White Sox broadcasts. Sickening.
