Given the way that KC fans are stuffing the ballot for the ASG, anyone think that the Commissioner will step in and select the AL starters?
No, fans of the other clubs could stuff their ballot boxes as well. Don't blame KC fans blame the lazy fans of the other clubs.

Jamie Campbell repeats what the Jays tell him like a good well paid employee. Remember Devon Travis and the 'precautionary' move to the DL that now dates back to May 17?
Hope Jamie is right but only time will tell.
No question Copeland deserves another look and lets hope he does as well as he did in his last start.
Travis still not close to returning. Makes you wonder if they really know what the issue is or if they misdiagnosed it.

I noticed something when the Yanks played the Angels.

Whenever The Mighty A-Roid got to first he would be met with disdain from Albert Pujols. AP is a monster with an effortless swing. There has been no suggestion that Mark McGwire ever saw his ass. If he's been playing clean all these years he has good reason to resent The Mighty A-Roid. With Pujols natural power had he been juicing he'd be closing in on both the HR and RBI records. AP can take comfort in the three World Series Rings he own, and he played a major part in obtaining them all.

When we get into July we'll know if The Mighty A-Roid is juicing again. His reconstructed hip should not be able to take the strain of a full season.

The all star voting is a joke...openly ballot box stuffing. This should be the one thing that belongs to paying attending customers. You come to a game, you get a single ballot. If you come to many games, you vote more often. What does baseball do just for the paying customer? I go to about half the games.....yet I cant even vote at the game!

Not sure if anyone is interested in the voting, but this is just a reminder for those who are. It ends July 2, I believe.

Watching HNIC, Cherry was putting in a plug for Josh Donaldson and for good reason. I'd agree with him and thrown in my 35 votes for Josh, and will use another email account later to do more for other Jays. Many on this club are quite deserving.

All Star Voting
I voted the max 35 times.
I will vote 35 more with the wife's email before July.

I must have missed Pujols 3rd World Series win.

As a die hard expos fan it's hard for me to become a jays fans as I hated them. I have tried as it would me enjoy the mlb season. But I must admit I think I need a "bandwagon type season" to get fully engaged in the jays. They seem to tease or always fade early. I am going to be in town later this week and will go watch against the meta. Let's hope they keep it going.

Lucky to have it 2-2 now. Jose Reyes is having a stinker night. Bad at the plate all night (many Jays are though in fairness) but that throwing error to first was very costly.
When your bad defensively, and not producing, you really become a liability.

Sure hope they can win this still.
Maybe they should try and convert Reyes to a second baseman, he wouldn't have to make those long throws. His offence is still good when he's hot.

If you want to act like an idiot there's nothing I can do about it... go ahead and show off... and good luck to you.

I am sure you will excel at it because you seem to have a lot of experience! :p

I give up on Cecil. Will this club Pu-leeeeze get a stud closer. This game should be over.
Cecil is just too nerve wracking to watch and not a closer.

Blown game, streak ends. Shit
Agreed!!! Hendricks tosses one pitch and game over. Shit, pisses me off to lose that one. That's a gimme if the pen does their job. Arghhhh

Just out of curiosity does anyone know what the longest Blue Jay losing streak is in history.
Can't find it using google search.
I did find out though that the Baltimore Orioles once had a 21 game losing streak and that the Montreal Expos once had a 20 game losing streak.

Dont know but there would have been some long ones in the expansion team days. The Orioles streak was a t start of season...so was particlularly bad. The Jays have a 21 year streak of not being in the playoffs.

Tonite the problem was the walking of the second hitter after cola made a good play for the first out. Big league hitters will get hits, walks are a giveaway. Goins turns a dp in last inning, so questionable hitting for him earlier. He got hits off lefties yesterday.

Bring us Papelbon! Cecil looks like a Phillie
